Hey dimwit, can you read English.
Hamas rejected the Oslo accords, scuttled peace talks and initiated suicide attacks
You mean the part in English that said Israel had to have recognized borders. Well, Israel didn’t abide by the accord and state its borders. Israel violated its obligations.

And guess what dimwit. They still haven’t. But knock yourself out and find them. Then get back to me.

Dirty, if the Gazans had tried to take an Israeli military post and there was a firefight and the Israeli garrison got killed, I'd figure it was a fair fight.

It's the gang rape of civilian women and the beheading of infants that skew the way most people perceive this assault. People who do that are animals, not human beings.
Beheaded infants? Have you been living in a sewer?

Then I guess you don’t know about the 1000 plus Palestinians being held hostage by Israel. And it must be news to you that Gaza is occupied by Israel, who blockades them and has snipers killing them as they walk in Gaza.
So then you justify what Hamas has done by attacking innocent folks and Israel should just say thank you, please come again?

Israel has been throwing down leaflets and broadcasting to Palestinians to leave the northern quadrant yet Hamas is telling them not to, why?

Dimwits don’t know how to read English.

A little longer this time, hopefully it doesn’t short circuit your command of English

In 1988 the PLO accepted American conditions for opening a U.S.-Palestinian dialogue: rejection of terrorism, recognition of Israel’s right to exist, and acceptance of United NationsSecurity Council Resolutions 242 (which called upon Arab states to accept Israel’s right “to live in peace within secure and recognized boundaries”) and 338 (which called for the implementation of Resolution 242 “in all its parts”).

With the intifada proving to be politically and economically damaging to Israel, a new Israeli government was elected in 1992 with a mandate to negotiate for peace. In the following year secret talks between Israel and the PLO under the auspices of the Norwegian government resulted in the Oslo Accords, a series of agreements signed in 1993–95. The accords reiterated the PLO’s 1988 commitments, and Israel recognized the PLO as the Palestinian people’s legitimate representative, agreed to withdraw in stages from areas of the West Bank and Gaza, and allowed the creation of a Palestinian Authority to govern those areas.

Outstanding matters in achieving a two-state solution were to be settled over the next five years.

Twice for good measure.
Negotiations and continued violence

Just as the PLO turned to pragmatism, however, a new organization, Hamas, headed in the opposite direction, articulating a vision of an Islamic state in all of historical Palestine. Hamas rejected the Oslo Accords and, in a move to scuttle peace talks, initiated a series of suicide attacks against Israeli targets.

Meanwhile, Israel continued to build settlements in the occupied territories, and the Palestinians imported arms and built up their security forces, in violation of the terms of the Oslo Accords.

No it isn't fiction lol.
It most certainly is. It was the Jewish terrorist groups who started invading and stealing the land outside of the borders it swore to abide by as well as conducting massacres of Palestinians. All before the other armies entered.

And you are playing right into it...
I'm not. Israel is.

But Israel also can't ignore the atrocities that HAMAS just did. They have to invade.

If Israel didn't invade, the "suffering Palestinian victims" would crash the border again next week and rape and torture more civilian women and behead more Israeli babies. They'll keep doing worse and worse atrocity shit until Israel invades....

..... and then they'll show videos of Palestinian kids with their arms and legs blown off and tell the world how Palestinians are "victims".

Exactly what's already happening now. It was all planned this way by HAMAS. There is no other explanation.

Now even if they wanted to attack, they could have attacked the IDF. But why did they massacre people? Kidnap kids? What kind of attack or retaliation is that?
1. Military strategy... being an inferior fighting force, they're guaranteed success with soft targets

2. Geopolitical strategy... waiting for the overreaction.

And yes, for a people like the Palestinians who dont really have the military strength or the worldwide support to pressure Israel, non-violence is the best political course of action that can get the world on their side.
I question the claim of "worldwide support" for Israel's occupation.

I don't believe Ukraine has parachuted into Russia during a peaceful nonpolitical celebration and started killing and kidnapping innocent young folks just celebrating.
Please show me a map of where you think the borders of Palestine or Israel lie.
Then please compare that with what the UN recognizes.

Wrong.

The PA went along.
Hamas wasn't included in the talks so them rejecting it was moot.

Hamas attacked first here so the whataboutism is to put this back on Israel.

Even so, yes Israel should abide by international law. But so should Hamas considering they are elected and everything.
I'll take the views of 80% of Israeli Jews who say Netanyahu is to blame.
And we haven't considered the views of Palestinians either.

The one thing that is confusing is how can someone have refugee status for 75 years? When someone comes to Canada as a refugee, they go through the asylum system and become PRs and eventually citizens. 75 years is 3 generations.
Yes, its really quite shocking isn't it?
Longest occupation in the world.
Largest number of refugees for a really long time.
