Anyways, this is just a silly debate. Whatever you are citing probably refers to a symmetrical war between standing armies. It probably doesn't anticipate guerilla warriors hiding behind civilians while launching offensive attacks on another country.

Comment #404. It is a Human Rights Watch (HRW) article. I copy pasted an excerpt from it, to say that both the Israelis and the Palestinians have done each other wrong. That is my general opinion as well. That they are both racist towards each other and have violated each other's human rights.

Israel is not our concern just like Ukraine is not our concern.

The good news is that more people are waking up to this. In the coming years, Israel will garner less support from the West.

As the quality of life among Westerners declines, news of sending billions in war machines and welfare to foreign nations like Israel will be heavily criticized by all.

As the West imports more immigrants across the world, less of the population will be concerned with Israel's affairs. Chinese, Africans, Indians, South Americans don't care about Israel nor should they.

I don't think the West is in decline. I also think the West is the best hope for humanity.

Do you think China, Russia or the Third World are on the rise? I would suggest you read the latest economic reports coming out of China. Also, Xi has been clamping down on his people's freedoms. That is not a sign of stability and strength.

No the west is not in decline. But yes, the third world is definitely on the rise. Temporary economic downturns, government policy etc are not indicative of decline in long term growth or potential because by arguing so, you wouldn't be accounting for corrective actions by said governments. That is very Peter Zeihan-ish infact.

On top of that, Western governments are broke. The average citizen is living on credit.
