What trans people? I'm talking about liberals being narcissists!

Liberals tell us that we have to use some made up pronouns.
Who is telling you to use anything. You can refer to yourself any way you like as may I. As a courtesy I respect your choice. Is it a lot to ask that you respect mine.

It wasn't. Unless you're only sitting on a school board as a stepping stone to running for a higher office (likely for the NDP).
I assume you are talking about someone specific? (I don't know anything about the school board.)

It would seem a very bad move if you wanted to run for the NDP, though.
Cracking down on someone obviously trying to take advantage of the system like that would be way better for you.
Showing the system is robust and can't be gamed by an asshole in bad faith would make you look way better in the eyes of NDP voters.

Both the PeePee cons and DoFo have decided to join the attack on LGBTQ. DoFo is desperate to try to change the conversation and the cons are just the cons.
They will both try to make it into an election issue coming up.

If only the NDP (the party, not their voters) actually believed in cracking down on people who abuse systems.

From your own article: -

Singh went on to add, “Stop punishing people who applied in good faith and are struggling to make ends meet during the pandemic.”

His comments likely refer to the letters sent by the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) to Canadians who must repay the benefit amount.

Applicants asked to return the money include those who may have accidentally received double payments, as well as those who misunderstood the eligibility criteria when the benefit was launched.

You can read, but apparently not understand. The "punishment" he is talking about is simple repayment, not punishment. The NDP position was that such people shouldn't be made to repay. You know, they should be allowed to keep what they shouldn't have received, but did. His (rather stupid) argument is that "it's the govenment's fault that their system was prone to misuse, so the recipients should get to keep the money they aren't entitled to".

The purported journalist and his sad attempt to look like a 1940's era "ace reporter".
You misread Menzies (like so much else). Menzies goes around asking uncomfortable questions that most journalists no longer have the courage to ask. Clearly he dresses up like a "Columbo" type character to create the impression that he's harmless and non-threatening. As a result, he gets a lot closer to his targets, and drops his bombshells, than most reporters ever do.

He's not playing "proud", as you misread him - he's playing "humble".
