Wasn't the French Open on clay ? Speculation was that Alcaraz faked cramps vs Djokovic . . . . Why fake 1-6, 1-6 on the last two sets ? Just retire . . .Looks like he will be the heir to Rafael Nadal (both Spanish). Wonder how he (Alcaraz) will do on clay?
Yes and he made the semi-finals but didn't win. So, can he win on clay? Maybe not win the French Open 14 times like Nadal has done. He still has to win the French and the Australian but he is young so lots of time.Wasn't the French Open on clay ? . .

Alvaraz made an impressive recovery after the nervy first set, which he lost 1-6. The second set he won on a tie breaker was huge.
