Yankees pitching for the most part has been good and they've won a lot of close games. Some of which they had no place in winning. Relief pitching has kept them in there so far. I think GM Brian Cashman's days are numbered in the big apple. If they don't turn this around he's probably gone in the offseason.

Just because they expect it, it ain't no guarantee that they are right.
They made various comments about the Florida state league, including heat and humidity - which could badly affect an overweight guy. I could see his concentration being fucked, given the demotion and strange environment. The coaching staff could also have him trying new pitches or new arm angles, etc. So I'm not worried about the bad pitching line.
Its hard to blame him for the Marlins managerial record. He wasn't give much to work with. In a couple of those seasons, the pitching staff was downright horrible. They've operated consistently with one of the lowest payrolls in MLB.Maybe, but have you seen his Marlins record??
