They will probably get the lowest wildcard spot but nobody will be worried about facing them. There's nothing to indicate any incredible turnaround.

That was a great old-school game last night. A pitching duel as Berrios took a no-hitter into the 7th. He was in total control. Good defense and base-running aside from Merriweather's gaffe in the 8th, but Bobochette made it a moot point with the RBI double.

And of course Romano nailed down the save and is now 2nd in the majors with 19 saves. There's still some hope in Mudville.

1:00 start today in the rubber match.

Romano was once again cringeworthy to watch, gave up 3 hits, not elite closer, I did the Mitch Williams eyes cover move.

I like your positivity. I'm too negative against this team at times.

Berrios is now our ace, and has been for a while but no one noticed. Even when he was bad last year he still
had more good than bad starts and ate up a lot of innings it just was his bad starts were really bad which
skewed his numbers.

With off days on June 22 and June 26 the Blue Jays can do a four-man
rotation in the second half of June until July which in Manoahs earliest return date

Swanson has a better strikeout rate, lower batting average against and better ERA than Romano so why is Romano the closer?

Why is Vlad in key position in line up that gives him more runners to bring in than anyone else when he sucks with RISP
and why does Romano remain the closer when we have Swanson?

vlady is a ground ball machine how many times has he come up with runner on third with less than two out and cant cash him in. man he seems to get a little worse every season.

And why is Vlady not hitting 2nd at this point and Bo hitting 3rd. Worth a shot. Maybe that will provide Vladimir the protection he needs in the order.

The Soup Nazi calls out to the Jays, it's over.

We've managed to fritter away our offense.

Sadly, these bums still have a chance of the third wildcard spot. They don't deserve it..

Results speak. A classic case of bending but not breaking.

I've said it many times, I'm a fan. Not a manager or a coach or a general manager.

Actually, not one of us on this board are any of those regardless of what we think. Unless we've spent a career in the game at all levels, are in the dressing room, know the guys much more personally, are involved in contract and trade discussions and our decisions are put under the microscope at every turn, we are unqualified compared to the actual decision makers.

Merrifield is the perfect #2 hitter on the roster, he puts the ball in-play you can play hit and run with him. With his speed he can break-up double plays and he has 18 SB thus far. Slide BoBo to the #3rd spot.
