I was surprised to see that Guerrero is plus .300 RISP. The whole team is bad RISP and I guess some of those singles help our superstar. The man cant get it up any more (the ball you people in the gutter)

I've said it many times, I'm a fan. Not a manager or a coach or a general manager.

Actually, not one of us on this board are any of those regardless of what we think. Unless we've spent a career in the game at all levels, are in the dressing room, know the guys much more personally, are involved in contract and trade discussions and our decisions are put under the microscope at every turn, we are unqualified compared to the actual decision makers.
yeah, but is anybody qualified enough to say Manoah should be pitching to Vladdy in A Ball? Send them both down......

lol

Merrifield is the perfect #2 hitter on the roster, he puts the ball in-play you can play hit and run with him. With his speed he can break-up double plays and he has 18 SB thus far. Slide BoBo to the #3rd spot.
Ding, ding, ding. We have a winner.

Merrifield is batting 2nd tonight.

Jordan "The Rock" Romano is now 10 for 10 in saves when asked to get more than 3 out. 4 up and 4 down tonight with 3 strikeouts.

Romano sometimes makes me nervous, but when he performs like he did last night, he deserves kudos. 4 out save, 3 k’s. Impressive. Also impressive is Jansen. His HR and RBI to at-bat ratio is the best on the Jays, making him arguably their best power hitter.

This edition of the Jays has some bright lights but way too many holes to scare anyone who has a chance to win it all. I like Merrifield in #2 spot. Good call @takrak. If one of the 4 remaining starters goes down, even if Kikuchi, they won't even come close to the last wilcard spot. The bullpen is way too thin with too few pitchers that can pitch mutiple innings effectively. Shapiro and Atkins have to take the fall for the huge gap in starting pitching and long relief in the organization. This hole is huge and could take a while to fix. I think they need a new hitting coach or they need to add to the current coaching team. Guys like Vladdy and Kirk have too much talent to struggle the way they do at the plate. Their mechanical and mental issues can be corrected.

Jays get hammered in Florida tonight.....Ouch!

Berrios and Pearson getting uncharacteristically lit up.

I'm sensing a return to managing by Donnie Baseball perhaps in the near future if this slide continues.

I bailed once the score was 5-0. The Jays are painful to watch these days. Vladdy seems to be improving....at grounding out into double plays.

after taking a 6-0 lead yesterday...outscored 21-1 and nobody shows any passion. Vladimir still chatting it up at first base and going 0-4. Bichette must be tired of getting hits and nothing else happens.

The moves made in the off season were partially done to change the culture of the team. Well,.........mission accomplished.

They need a kick butt manager and one who will occasionally take on umpires (sounds like John Gibbons). Schneider should have jumped out of the dugout on that foul fair hit by Biggio for example. Rubbing your beard is not passion.
