I was at tonight's game. From where I was sitting, his first two outs looked like bullets that were luckily caught. He only succeeds it feels like, with a clean ninth. I don't trust him with runners on base, and I don't trust him in a tie game.Every time when Romano comes in to the game to close it's white knuckles I don't have confidance that he will get the job done. He almost blew the save yesterday, a couple of inches houston would of tied the game. Why didn't they leave Bassitt in to start the 9th he was cruising alnog and his pitch count was low, have Romano ready in the pen if required. Another brain fart move by Schneider that would of cost us the game.
After tonight's outing, his ERA would probably be 2.7 something. How he got there is beyond me. I don't feel good about him at all.
