Vlady is useless, trade him to the SF Giants for Michael Conforto...then Bolton will be happy. Pearson threw a perfect pitch for the SO, then gives up a hr.

MLB Network still loves him.

It is his ninth home run of the year, and he's rounding the bases with his little gestures and celebrations, like some serious slugger that just hit his 23rd.

fuck that's almost as annoying as "my house my house my house."

Vlady is useless,
If he continues to be shit, the Jays may not have to offer him a monster contract.

Then bring in George Bell as his hitting coach.

Hey Phil. Is the needle moving on Belt for you?

In the last 30 days he's hitting over .340 and an on base %age over .480 I think he's hitting about .260 overall.

They're calling him MVP in the dugout. LOL

Belt, Merrifield, Kiermaier are all gamers and good acquisitions. I think Varsho can be the same. He's intense and has the tools. As lovable as Vlady is, he can learn from them.

I don't even consider it his 9th. The grand slam he hit vs tampa was joke. It was BP.

This guy needs to look down at the end of the bench at Bo. I think Bo went out of his way to let some the guys know "hey, I'm school and going to respect the came and conduct myself like a pro, like some clown or theatre actor". Bo hits a HR, he comes back to the dugout and does some high fives and back to business. The way it should be. I don't even know what half the nonsense is that Vlad does when rounding the bases. He's got a finger in the air rounding second, does stupid stutter step between 2nd and 3rd, and gives the shush sign at third when he's in his own ball park. I'm at the point where I just want them to trade him because I can't stand the nonsense that comes along with him.

In today's era it is difficult to discipline a player - but I suggest that Vlad be told that he is to sit near the coaches and manager and not in his special end of the dugout spot (someone else can flirt with Hazel) and be more intense about the game. Also stop chatting and joking with every other opposing player who reaches first base. Maybe this weekend is a good sign but I am tired of Vladdy having fun while going 0 for 4.

Why is it always Vladdy that dumps the ice bucket?
I suspect there is a hierarchy in the clubhouse with Vlad on top

We have proven we are a better than average club going 7 for 9 against 500 clubs

No surprise there

We are pretenders not contenders

Odds of winning division is very small but we got a decent shot at WC
but the Big Show is out of our reach as we cannot beat the best because of Vlad
not doing his job of driving in RISP that his position is supposed to do

He has had 2 years to learn how to hit pitchers that have learned
his weakness and he has not so it will not happen tomorrow

When pitchers discuss how to pitch to the Jays they are talking about Bo not Vlad

Bo should be in the 3 or 4 position with Vlad in the bottom third of line up
where pitchers take a breather to save energy

As an overall player yes. In the fourth spot ..,.no. If he finishes this season with over 20 home runs, then I guess so lol.

he is acting like a spoiled rich kid, whose daddy is a Hall of Famer. I think everyone is waiting for him to show glimpses of his 2021 season.

Because he is rarely the player of the game, (i can remember once - our house, and another time he got a homer to make it 11-1)

The ice bucket is worse than the jacket. Surprised that no one has caught a cold or maybe a neck injury - ok remote but possible.

I do not know if other teams have an ice bucket routine.

Yup, so stupid. It's just another thing he does that's totally turned me off him as a ball player. I think some of the guys were getting tired of it and started dumping water/ice out so he couldn't do so much anymore. If you look now when he does it, there's not nearly as much water/ice in the Gatorade bin.

You're not supposed to ice bucket a pitcher, Chris Bassitt seems to like it. Alex Manoah most certainly does not, i hear he punched Vlady in the face in the clubhouse.

Are Jays fans becoming Leafs fans? I remember the scorn being heaped on BoBoChette at the start of the season, now that he's on pace for 200 hits all I hear is crickets. The problem with Vlady, he's had too many junk pitches as called strikes. Schneider had enough and ranted with the ump getting his ass tossed. Let's see how many of you folks complain about Vlady when he goes on a tear.

Poor Hazel didn't see it coming.

Only three Blue Jays have had 200 hits. Robbie Alomar twice, John Olerud and Vernon Wells with the record of 215.

What a disaster. Manoah gets one out in first 6 runs and leaves 2 on

hard to watch

Leave him in and let him throw 100 pitches to save the bullpen

Maybe he will figure something out

Game is over anyways so take Kirk out to give him rest

Has one of the games best ever fallen so hard and so quickly
for no reason that anyone can figure out?

OK enough is enough, F the BS.....Manoah needs to start working out in season ASAP with that Roger Clemens ex trainer guy, the Mitchell Report rat, Brian McNamee ASAP.

I know how dare that man rat on the rocket....lol..... but I'm sure he can help. Tighten up that core, and get his conditioning up to par.

At least Devon White hit a home run.

Never mind Brian McNamee, have Manoah train with Gary Roberts. He's carrying too much weight, it's affecting his mechanics and he's tipping his pitches.

Yup, time to pull the plug on Manoah. The Jays can"t afford to throw away every 5th game. He needs to be sent down to the minors to work out issues, perhaps with the guidance of a different pitching coach.

JAYS need to aquire a backend starter first as they have none to bring up

mitch white is offically out of consideration

he has been a washout and they gave up top prospect in Nick Frasso
who is pitching lights out in AAA
