John Schneider also sucks at using Nate Pearson. Just having the kid sit there. I have never seen such a shitty manager with such a great record. Lol

Imho, John Schneider's decisions, lost the last two games. How he has the record he has is beyond me.The Jays have a case of the bullpen blues.
..... further, I think one of the best traits a manager can have, is really defining the bullpen roles. Having a solid general outline of who does what that you stick to. Who is the mop up guy? Who is this set up guy? Who is the set up to the set up guy? Who is your tie game equalizer? All i see, is a bunch of guys that don't really belong in the roles they have.Imho, John Schneider's decisions, lost the last two games. How he has the record he has is beyond me.
Don't know the exact percentages, but bringing Romano into a tie game feels like 50/50.

Like at this point, Garcia is a mop up guy. He should've lost all trust two weeks ago. Jays could have an extra two or three wins to this point, based on a solid manager.
All I see from John Schneider is Tim Mayza all day, and then Romano in the ninth for that part is not rocket science lol.

Between Cimber, Garcia, Bass and White..... I would get rid of Garcia and Bass. Trade them for some Rookie Ball prospectsand a jar of pine tar.I was listening on the radio an hour ago.
Caleb Joseph said that right now Schneider has lost confidence in Garcia and Bass. Cimber is hurt and they're worried about pushing Pearson too hard because they still want him in a longer role. Romano and somebody else had just pitched two days in a row. So even though the Jays starters had pitched the most innings of any staff in the majors in April, his bullpen is not as long as one would imagine.
I got that reference. Seen that movie 20 times at least.I was making a “Road House” film reference!
Ex-Yankee Chad Green will figure in at some point, maybe June? Should still be able to throw hard after Tommy John surgery last year.Between Cimber, Garcia, Bass and White..... I would get rid of Garcia and Bass. Trade them for some Rookie Ball prospectsand a jar of pine tar.
Keep Cimber as your blow-out mop up, and keep White as you're "trying to keep it close" mop up.... after White proves himself after a few outings. Who knows or maybe they can go the other way around lol. And we have Trent Thornton stewing around somewhere. I like him as a keep it close and mop up as well.
....but then, on the other hand, maybe Anthony Bass figures it out. It's so damn complicated lol

I always have this vision and memory of both Chad Green and Josh Beckett, throwing in a home white jersey, in the playoffs, throwing probably in the upper 90s....and the speed of their fastball, the popping of the catchers mitt, the way they are hitting their spots, the movement on their pitches, it's just unhittable! And probably their white jersey home uniform hiding the ball a little better, making it a little more deceptive for the hitter. It's so hard to explain, but it's almost like I've seen these two guys throw so hard and deception and everything is just right on point, where the whole crowd and the whole stadium knew what was coming and the hitter had absolutely no chance.Ex-Yankee Chad Green will figure in at some point, maybe June? Should still be able to throw hard after Tommy John surgery last year.
Their bullpen was absolutely lights out until the last 3-5 days. 0 earned runs and 0 hits in a 15 inning stretch.Jays need a better pen or they won't win the World Series
Bring back Gibby lolTheir bullpen was absolutely lights out until the last 3-5 days. 0 earned runs and 0 hits in a 15 inning stretch.
His mechanics look out of sync, which probably leads to his ineffective slider. Imho, I think he's about 15 to 20 pounds heavier, and he looks constantly winded and trying to catch his breath. He covered first base on a ground ball to his left yesterday, and unless it was my imagination, I could've swore I seen him gasping for air with an open mouth, breathing heavy. With the way he defended being big, successful, and big men in general, that probably justified a few extra Arby's combos this off season.Manoah has struggled and is not pitching like an ace. His slider has been completely ineffective.

With that said, imagine what the pitch clock is doing to him. How many one second left on the clock pitches has he made? Tons.
