Just like sexual assault, the courts would NEVER give the same sentence for those two examples.

I started to read the article but stopped when it asked for permission to plant cookies.First, societal standards change. In the 50's a pat on the ass might have been acceptable. Today it is a crime.
As for studies, here's a few. there are a bunch other on google scholar that are behind paywalls.

And one abstract that seems very clear.
A sample of 231 sexual offenders was studied with respect to the progression of their offenses from non-contact sexual crimes (such as exhibitionism and voyeurism) as juveniles, to the more serious sex assaults of rape and child molestation as adults. The results of this study reveal that a significant number of offenders manifest a history of sexually inappropriate behaviors beginning in early adolescence. It appears from the study that many offenders begin to act out sexually at an early age and if left untreated may escalate to more serious sexual assaults.
1) It studied only people who were already offenders (sample of 231).
2) It did not study people who might have done something sexually inappropriate at an early age (e.g. touched little Susie's bum in grade 4) and did not "graduate" more serious sexual assaults.
3) Thus, it is an incomplete and biased study.
The studies on porn are so much better. Yes, some maybe most offenders might have watched porn. On the other hand, there are many more people who watched porn and never offended.
For example, let say 100 million men watch porn but only less than 1,000 go on to offend.

Four different women, all independent of each other, reported the incidents comitted by the same offender to the police.
If four women reported the assault, I'd be willing to bet there are more victims who haven't. According to a government website, the number of sexual assaults actually reported to the police are about 6 of every 100.
So WHY has this thread devolved into a discussion of "innocent" men being accused or convicted when it is pretty clear this kid has commited sexual assault according to our legal definition?
Are we going to argue that four separate women are lying and it is a conspiracy against a teenaged boy by four adult women?
Yes, the article does not state the exact manner of sexual assault, but it does state the kid got off of his bicycle to commit the assaults and even went so far as to follow one victim and block the way of another victim.

Reading some of these comments and the way certain people think is scary. From my observation not just on this website but all over social media, when it comes to a male being accused the men seem to be like “we don’t know the whole story” or “this could ruin the mans life”. Whereas when a woman is being accused of something similar all the men yelling for justice for the male.
Take Johnny Depp and Amber Heard case for example, JD accused AH of abuse and sued her for defamation. Majority of the men were siding with JD and wanted justice for him and didn’t care for what AH had to say. Even went as far as wanting to end her career and remove her from aquaman, there was a whole petition to sign as well. Some were even demanding jail time for her. BTW I personally was on JD side but I’m speaking on what I saw on social media. A lot of woman were on JD side as well.
Now in this case a young man clearly sexually assaulted multiple woman. Which is beyond horrible no matter how you put it whether you say rape, non consensual sex, even if the person was passed out and you don’t know her/him and take advantage, still sexual assault. This young man at such a young age is committing these terrible acts one can only imagine how he would be at an older age and there are men on here saying “we don’t what happened” “kids are going to be kids”. He deserves to get jail time and have his face all over the news. If the roles were reversed and a woman was going around assaulting men I’m sure the comments would be completely different.

Nobody knows, maybe he did or not, or maybe the women exaggerated. the kid looks no more than 15 yo by looking body structure of the pics.
It could be just a unwanted touch, they just called it sexual assault.

I know a guy that used to live in my building like 5 years ago, a Karen lady made up allegations of him sexual assault her in the elevator . They were cameras in the elevator, Nothing happened at all, she made up lies
There are 4 women. 4. Count that. 4.
They are independent of each other, meaning they don’t know each other so they couldn’t have hatched this up on the guy.
There is enough evidence for a judge to decide to allow his image to be used when it is normally protected.
How that is not enough to let you know something of a non-consensual sexual nature happened is beyond me.
Probable cause is very different than a due process-based conviction. Innocent until proven guilty is a fundamental principle at play here. Too many women are too quick convict a male accused based on speculative testimony rather than clear evidence. Their overt gender bias is laughable.
I can't believe that this kid has not been apprehended yet, the pictures are quite clear, surely someone recognizes him.
