You have your timing and the Czar of Russia has his timing. Above all, doing it during the Trump's presidency would have been bad for Russia.
their best option was the Minsk agreements. Since they fucked that up, Zelensky will be the leader that destroyed the nation. The dumb ass trusted the US. Now he is kinda fucked. Canada lent them 650m. thats gone.
We will see what sanctions they put in place now. If they go all in. Putin may decide that now is the time. But I think at most he will take all of eastern Ukraine down the black sea and secure the east shore of the Dniper river so Crimea can be supplied with water.
Russia, or bolshevik Russia to be exact already gave Ukraine the Ukraine LoL Ukraine never existed in this form before.. but it is semantics anyway, Ukranians and Russians are same ppl who speak same language( different dialect does not constitue a language)
So call them all Russians or all Ukranians rhey are one and the same, sharing DNA, Culture and beleifs.

I disagree, i beleive US military is still the strongest and with over 700 overseas bases, also most deployed army in the worlds history..

It used to be that the US had by far the strongest military in the world. Today, it is no longer the case. The Russian military is equally strong, anda China close. North Korea also has a strong military. All three could join forces and wreak havoc. China is already pushing the limits on what it can do territorially. North Korea is crazy, and Russia is obviously thirsty to reclaim it's former self and have more influence.
Could these three win a world war 3?
Just one of their carrier strike groups carries more punch than most of the smaller countries in the developed world.

West has been gradually isolating and encircling Russia for decades now, and new sanctions were going to be imposed regardless, an excuse would have been made one way or another.
Who ever has a hard time beleiving it just take a count of US bases around russia and their positioning.

Ukrainians understand russian (due to decades of TV/radio broadcasting, serving in Soviet army etc) but russians don't understand ukrainian. Neither do you nor whoever fed you that "information".

The US has not had to contend with attacking a strong tier 1 military in a long time. They were defeated in Afghanistan most recently. If they attacked a tier 1 power like Russia, their carrier groups would not be able to get into strike range without being sunk. It would not be pretty. Best to not think about it
No, the difference between Russian and Ukrainian is much greater then between French and Quebequa. There are lots of very similar words, but still, it is not a dialect. All Ukrainians (except in some villages) know Russian though. Any Russian can understand written Ukrainian (about 90% of the text, at least), but understanding will be less for regular-speed monologue. I believe, both languages were the same about 1000 years ago when "Russia" was mostly on the current Ukrainian territory, but I am not an expert in my own country history, so, I may be wrong.
Your source says the US is still number 1. Also you are completely ignoring equipment quality, training and doctrinal issues.
North Korea is a large military but it is man for man extremely weak... and small, literally as they don't get to eat much.
