Reality Check #1: The Liberals did not get most of the votes.

Reality Check #2: This is concerning, some of the police and army sympathize with the protesters.

Reality check #3 - Libs, NDP and Greens got most of the votes. Tories about 1/3.

Reality Check #2: This is concerning, some of the police and army sympathize with the protesters.
Reality check #4 - Cops apparently just cleared the Ambassador Bridge, just as good as if they were Navy SEALS.

Majority of the people protesting are vaxxed.
Yes, they are mostly extreme right wingers, conspiracy kooks who worry about globalists, white supremacists and western separatists now.
Its not about vaccines or mandates, its an insurrection funded by foreign right wing money.

The American site givesendgo has $9 million for these people.

The governors of Texas and Florida want gofundme investigated for stopping the flow of American money.

And they are mostly the "liberal lefties" that darts like to demonize as being the root of all of the world's problems.

And they are mostly the "radical right" that darts likes to identify himself with.

Nope. He's a shit head and it's evolved past him.
Ok, so who are the leaders who are representing the 'issues'?
What are these issues?

The only leaders I've seen named, including the ones in charge of the $9 million in US money raised, are that shit head and his friends.

The U.S. would have sent in the storied 101st Airborne already.

I've seen this movie before. The "protesters" will provoke a confrontation with the police and scream police brutality and the liberal lefties will back the thugs (protesters) 100% and demonize the police.

Looks like the 101st Airborne might not be needed.

Reality check 38: Justin "Just Watch Me" Trudeau should have acted sooner. A lot of damage has been done to Canada's reputation and economy.

"Gretchin Whitmer (Democrat) absolutely hates Canada and is already talking with the auto manufacturers about re-opening plants/incentives to move auto support production and anything else from Canada to Michigan.

Biden (also a Dem), needing little excuse and desperately needing votes via JOBS, sees the Canadian problem of being unable to control or do anything, said just a few days ago " I made it clear from day one: When the federal government spends taxpayers’ dollars, we’re going to buy American: American products made in America, including American component parts.""

Press Progress has found and heard from some of those 'oppressed' people backing this insurrection.

The issue is the government taking things away from people until they comply. Getting vaxxed or anything really should be a personal choice not determined by anyone else but the individual person.

Begging the government to tell you what you do and how to live is cowardly.

Prove the 9 million was raised from the u.s alone. Because I saw something completely different. I saw people pulling money from their pockets and donating food.

When I went to look I saw everyone working together to achieve a goal. No one person was in charge/leader.

You can choose not to get vaccinated if you want, but what these whiners want is no repercussions to being possible carriers of the pandemic.
So make your choice and live with the repercussions.
You can choose to smoke if you want, you just have to do it outside or at your home. Same thing, deal with the repercussions of your choice.

Most of the money is coming from the US.

There is some money coming from businesses here as well, hardly any from Canadians from what I've read. From Canada is mostly from wealthy right wingers and their businesses.

But you're down to 20% support and dropping, with the people of Ottawa standing up and stopping the protests from going anywhere.

Everyone can be a carrier vaxxed or not. So what does it matter? It doesn't matter anymore.

You really think the 10% unvaxxed are holding the 90% vaxxed hostage by not getting the shot?

Who are you to tell anyone other than you what to do?

It sure as fuck isn't the governments responsibility to tell anyone what to do with their body. Taking things away until people comply is wrong. If you don't believe that then you're damaged.

Begging the government to restrict you is cowardice.

I can understand and appreciate some of their (truckers) grievances but disagree totally with their tactics because it is hurting ordinary citizens.

BTW 1: All or almost all Sikh drivers are still trucking.

BTW 2: Whatever became of those laid off auto workers who were heading to confront the "protesters"?

We are at the end of the 5th and hopefully last wave and everything is opening up regardless of how much shitting in the streets happens.
Soon it won't matter so much.

The government has the support of the country, they just got voted back in for their handling of the pandemic.
The anti vaxxers just slowed things down, clogging the the hospitals and ICU's and costing us more money in health care and now in policing.
All because they are afraid of a jab that a billion people took, that 96% of doctors think is safe enough that they took.

It is the responsibility of the government to listen to health professionals, same way that we have laws against smoking and not wearing seatbelts, not to mention stop signs or other crap.
You want to take the risk and not get vaxxed, fine, just deal with the repercussions the same way if you thought drilling a hole in your head was wise.
