not quite the same. The technology of using inactivated/weakened virus for vaccine production by 1954 was about 75 years old, so the method was very well polished by then vs
first mRNA human trial in 2013 and production for C19 vaccines in 2020 ....we have a difference in time 10+ fold (7 years vs 75 years)
