So FA31 played a game and let 2 goals in 14 shots with the Marlies. Should we be worried. Tbh folks I am. Start JC36.

Darryl Hall has recovered from Lyme Disease, part of the hazard of living in semi-rural Colorado. He holds jam sessions called Live from Darryl House, not sure if he's still doing them.

I wouldn't worry about Andersen getting his game back it will take time. I'm worried when he plays in the playoffs when he's not ready.
I‘d think Campbell will start game one of the playoffs and it’s his job to lose. If he falters and the Leafs fall behind in the series, then we’ll see Andersen or Rittich.

Willy should try some left corners instead or mix a bit. I'd like to see the Leafs play every minute of the play-off games as the puck drops and ignore the score board that's the only way they can play their own momentum. Can't wait to watch the play-off games.

I will say why is he even playing AHL hockey...they can have controlled games and scrimmages with NHL shooters and able to rehab him probably more effectively and monitored with the NHL team...it'll look stupid if he gets an injury.

... and where are they getting these controlled games and scrimmages with NHL shooters? If you're talking about the Leafs they're quite occupied at the moment playing regular season games. If you're talking about non game days well those are reserved for practice and rest and Andersen has already participated in practices. Ideally he gets in a regular season game with the Leafs but that doesn't seem possible so Marlies is the next best thing. If you're worried about getting injured then he should just stay home.

...you let Anderson participate in a practice...many practices, if not every practice, consists of drills and scrimmage...I don't think playing half a game in the AHL is going to make a big difference in his rehab.

This is Andersen’s contract year and I‘m sure he’s looking for opportunities to showcase his talents for future employers. To prepare himself for whatever opportunities come his way in this year’s playoffs, a stint with the Marlies is his best option. The Leafs have to grant him that opportunity.

Freddy Andersen lost 5-4 this afternoon, he faced 38 shots and saved 34. Freddy is starting to get his workload in the Marlies.

Hutton looks a lot better than in his first game with the Leafs. He looks legit.
Considering what they saw from Marincin last year this is an excellent pick up.

Leafs getting vaccinated today, they got 3 days off to get over any side effects, or they can rest up the next 2 games. The Vaccination location is secret as to prevent fans from gathering.

Nylander also on a bit of a streak. Marner second on team in goals.

Nylander has 4 goals and 11 assists in his past 12 games. Yes he's been productive but I don't think he's necessarily playing well. To me he is the most frustrating player on the team. He's horrendous defensively, he gets knocked off the puck way too easy, and at times does not put in an effort to win pucks. Instead you'll find him circling around the center ice line. In my day we called those players cherry pickers. He is gifted offensively and puts himself in positions to score or set up plays.
Tavares is playing well at both ends of the ice. He would have even more points if he didn't have such a propensity to hit the post or crossbar.
Marner and Matthews have been outstanding offensively this year. Matthews has also dramatically improved his two way game. Marner still coughs the puck up too much trying to be cute with the puck. That could cost us in the playoffs.
