I question if Shanny fires Dubas if the Leafs exit the 1st round again. Sadly it's not the Leafs year to win the cup. I see Vegas, Carolina or Colorado winning the cup.
I think the Leafs are capable of winning the Cup this season. Vegas and Colorado are in the same division. Whoever makes it out of there will be wounded. Plus we wouldn't have to meet either of them until the final. All we would need to do is get by the winner of the Central (Carolina, Florida, Tampa Bay and Nashville are 1-4 there). Carolina looks tough but will they get the goaltending in the playoffs? Tampa is missing Kucherov and Stamkos.
Wouldn't it be something if the Leafs met the Bruins in the final. That could be some serious redemption.

.don't be surprised if one of the Leaf's unlikely fighters faces an uncomfortable situation.
I'm guessing that won't happen. They had lots of time to do it last game but nobody stepped up. To me it indicates that the players figured that there was some retribution coming. For a guy who's never fought, he dropped the gloves quickly and emphatically, as if he knew it was coming. He was prepared.

Kevin Bieksa who knows a little bit about hockey and fights gives his take on "The Code" and why he thinks the matter is settled between the Canucks and the Leafs.

I guess we will see what happens in tonight's game - but I agree with Shack's statement above - if the Canucks had a problem with it why didn't they do anything last game??

Colorado is listed as 31st in hits this season according to stats provided by George. Vegas has the likes of Reeves. If they play each other in a series Smudden may announce this as proof ... or not
The top 12 scorers on Vegas are not hitters. All their hitters are fringe players. They are not a team loaded with Ovi's.

The reason it won't happen is because Vancouver is a pussy team...

Edler knew it was coming...Simmonds was talking to him in the pre-game skate.

Kucherov and Stamkos will be back for the playoffs. Having both of them in the lineup will make them the team to beat.

Actually you said he's never been suspended for knee on knee. I said he's a multiple offender. So your correct he's never been suspended for knee on knee, but has been suspended twice for other stuff and injured Eric Staal with a knee on knee in an IIHL event.

So I'm not exactly sure what your trying to defend here. He's a has history, and Wayne Simmonds was absolutely justified in going after him.
I didn’t ask you any questions at all.

someone is crying about Matt Martin no longer being on the team? Why not bring back Komarov and Kessel also. Don't stop there, Bozak and JVR would be good too.

Leafs 5 wins in a row. It was only a few games ago there were rumblings of fire Dubas.

They got rid of Matt Martin and Komorov and then determined the team wasn’t tough enough...Bozek played on a Stanley Cup champion the year he left the Leafs...
