How's this, if mask use dropped by 20% shouldnt Texas be seeing a 20% increase in new cases??

Let that question sink in for a bit
While you are trying to think of how that has any meaning, could you explain why the major drop in texas was in February?

Question,

If Doug went apeshit, lost his marbles like Abbot and decided to tell Ontarians to remove their masks if they want to, how many do you actually believe would with numbers being where numbers are would actually listen?
False equivalence because our numbers are much higher than Texas

Yes, because having around 40% of your country vaccinated seems the be the threshold level for herd immunity 😂

https://www.cnbc.com/2021/04/19/cov...it-record-levels-despite-vaccine-rollout.html

Chile has one of the world’s best vaccination rates. Covid is surging there anyway
You brought up the fact that their cases are slightly lower than Ontario, if true, and not manipulated! Is Ontario 40% into vaccinations? If you are going to throw up Chile, I'll counter it with Israel.

Israel is top of the world right now though. They are over 60% vaccinated and doing great.

So apparently around 60% is needed before cases go down, and I suspect we'll be there in the fall sometime (assuming no new variants fuck it all up)

Can you explain why there was a major rise starting around November 2020??
You use Texas as a model.......Really?? They have over 49,800 deaths from Covid-19. Double that of the whole of Canada. Their Infections are around 2.86 Million. Moreover, at the peak of their 2nd wave, they have had over 29,000 infections in one day.

But the latest from Texas is:

The Texas Department of State Health Services reports almost 4,400 new cases and 59 new deaths Tuesday.

Johns Hopkins University researchers have calculated rolling seven-day averages of almost 3,400 cases and 55 deaths daily.

According to Johns Hopkins University calculations, the Texas pandemic case total is at slightly more than 3.06 million and the state’s death toll is nearing 50,000.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention says almost 23% of the population in Texas has been fully vaccinated.

Expect the rates to continue to surge when they have these lax idiotic regulations or lack of it:

That isn't how the R rate works.
Also masks are just one factor.

However I see you continue to misuse graphs when it has been explained to you, and you just ignore polls when it doesn't suit you so I am guessing you are like those jebus cultists who insist that the bible is without error when contradictions are pointed out to them.

Even if the stats showed a drop in cases, it wouldn't make sense. One would have to consider that there are other factors at play.

If some dude added a Big Mac Meal every day to his diet and lost 20 pounds, one would not just assume, oh Big Macs = fat loss. We would assume something else is going on like the Mac replaced other foods to a degree to which he went into calorie deficit, or maybe he is "Tren"ing hard, eating "Clen", "Test"ing his limits, "debol"ishing his obsticles "anavar" giving up. Or maybe tapeworms. Whatever you wouldn't just accept the Big Macs cause weight loss argument.
You wouldn't. But Phil would.

You are completely clueless as to the point of this thread. We are discussing masks laws which were relaxed on March 10th and its effects on their daily new infection rate.

We're not discussing total deaths from Covid, we're not discussing the peak of their 2nd wave (which was in January of 2021), and you are also cherry-picking one day which is WAY too small of a sample size.

In other words, your post one GIANT PILE of motherfucking FAIL 😂

What proof do you have that it wasnt??
You made the claim. I have the legitimate right to ask you to back it up. I guess you don't have any because you'd post your proof if you had any and usually do with your graphs etc. Since you don't have anything to show us I guess that we can disregard your post as BS.

I think you're full of shit half the time too. Remember when you said most people in China wear masks, and I posted all those pics of Chinese people not wearing masks and concerts and beerhalls?? Remember that?? Want me to report them so I can embarrass you again?? 😂

Here you go @shack, I found it: https://terb.cc/xenforo/threads/happy-new-year-from-wuhan.734628/page-3#post-6919253

Your exact post:
Or they are more used to wearing masks over there. It is not considered a loss of personal freedom to wear one
