1 month sample size is about adequate to see if masks made a difference.
I post this thread after 35 days
Except you already admitted the first two weeks have nothing to do with the impact.

Just another case where you posted some headline you thought made you look smart without bothering to think about what it actually says.

That graph clearly shows a continuing downward trend starting on March 10th
Unfortunately for your argument, the mask mandate ending wouldn't have had any impact until roughly the 24th, long after the drop in cases. Since then there is no noticeable change. During masks, the cases dropped massively. After masks, cases have stayed roughly steady. Your point (as is often the case) is bullshit.

Even if the stats showed a drop in cases, it wouldn't make sense. One would have to consider that there are other factors at play.

If some dude added a Big Mac Meal every day to his diet and lost 20 pounds, one would not just assume, oh Big Macs = fat loss. We would assume something else is going on like the Mac replaced other foods to a degree to which he went into calorie deficit, or maybe he is "Tren"ing hard, eating "Clen", "Test"ing his limits, "debol"ishing his obsticles "anavar" giving up. Or maybe tapeworms. Whatever you wouldn't just accept the Big Macs cause weight loss argument.

Oh no, my mom would have hung you from the cherry tree in her back yard and then quietly buried you.
My mother would just lie there and let him do his business. She has been dead for 19 years, I am guessing she is past caring.

Wrong! Covid median incubation period is 5 to 6 days. That means we should have seen an increase in new cases around the 15th of March (5 days after masks were relaxed). We didnt see that, and numbers have been going down slightly ever since.

I cant help it if you never finished high school and don't understand basic science, math and statistics

Its not just me saying it, the Texas Tribune apparently agrees with me as well:

When I first saw this I thought your sig pic was a picture of his Mom since it was a new one I hadn't seen before.
I was thinking whoo hooo Squeezer!
If my Mom pranced around in a bikini like Phil's young lady and was showing off sexy tan lines like that I'd be calling Andy and see if he has room on the roster.

The only condition would be no righties from this board allowed to book her.

At least that's the case for people who don't know the meaning of words. The MEDIAN period is 5-6 days.

But even using 5-6 days, the significant drop in Texas' numbers happened in February and the numbers have been fairly steady over the past 3 weeks.

And as you keep ignoring,

"We still have about 80% of Texans, as recently as this month, reporting that they are wearing masks when they go out," Henson said.

p.s. Do you know the difference between "not surged" and "dropped"

I wonder if you read as far as the byline.

Daily new cases and the positivity rate have leveled off over the past month

They did a poll. Polls are often wrong.
Either way, many Texans are not wearing masks and that number probably rises every day since new cases continue to fall

Again, cases have declined slightly since March 10th. I cant help it if you dont know how to read a graph

He has absolutely no way of knowing its as high as 80%. He wouldve had to have taken a count of the entire State.

If he did take a count of the whole State, could you please post those stats for us??
Love how you desperately try to ignore any evidence you don't like, even when it is numerous sources from the place in question.

p.s. Why are you still using March 10 after you admitted that the soonest we would see an impact would be March 15 and up to the 24th? More importantly, why did you start a thread about the massive drop in cases in Texas when the vast majority of that drop happened before the Gov even announced his plan?

How's this, if mask use dropped by 20% shouldnt Texas be seeing a 20% increase in new cases??

Let that question sink in for a bit

Question,

If Doug went apeshit, lost his marbles like Abbot and decided to tell Ontarians to remove their masks if they want to, how many do you actually believe would with numbers being where numbers are would actually listen?
