Your post # 177 above is a duplicate of what is stated here in an article by Jordan Davidson:

Which is why my previous post asked you:

Why no quotes (as if you're plagiarizing) & no credit to the source of the article you posted from? Did you write it?

BTW did you see their death rate now??? Over the last week only 4 deaths
As per your previous post the low number of deaths in Sweden and only in Sweden proves they have achieved herd immunity.
Wait no that wasn't it, it was what you posted which you had assumed to be a lower number of cases or spread of the virus in comparison to other countries that showed they had achieved herd immunity :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

Okay, that you would try to show that graph and argue a downward trend is hilarious. Looks like they have similar downward trends every week. :)
Exactly,
Looking at that graph one (except the "Stable Genius's) can clearly see the following
Sweden has had a similar type of 3-5 day trend from the beginning (up and down), but more importantly since early July the numbers of cases were consistent and roughtly at the same level, that is until mid September where one can clearly see the number of daily cases being on a substantial increase (Even admitted by their own government officials). Except the "Stable Genius" crowd sees this as a downward trend :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

But what's even more interesting I just explained it to him 3 times yesterday and more than a handful of times prior about Sweden's testing and the numbers of cases gets re adjusted through the week yet he still doesn't understand that their numbers change and he quoted them.
Yes today October 14, 2020 and just adjusted the number of cases for October 8, 2020, this happens weekly

New numbers
Oct. 8: 836 new cases
Oct. 9: 783 new cases
Oct 10: 510 new cases
Oct 11: 161 new cases
Oct 12: 637 new cases

Yesterday's cases
Oct 13: 613 new cases
Like I said a 3 day drop means absolutely little if any relevance to the Coronavirus cases and in the specific case of Sweden it means even less.

What's one of the ways of understanding how countries are doing in regards to how prevalent COVID spread is and if the number of cases are on the rise or on the fall is the 7 day averages, and it's consistency.

7 Day average Sweden
September 1----------------------------------162
October 1--------------------------------------491
Yesterday October 13 was at-------------625

Thats not what I said at all

Yupper, they have achieved a level of herd immunity right now from what it looks like.
Of course not total immunity because that doesnt come overnight. But they are a lot closer than many other countries.

And thats why other EU countries are now copying that strategy: https://www.thenationalnews.com/wor...nity-model-gains-momentum-in-europe-1.1082393

LOL....are you really this dense?? Its actually 4 days not 5, but its still a downward trend.

Oct. 8: 835 new cases
Oct. 9: 785 new cases
Oct 10: 510 new cases
Oct 11: 161 new cases
Oct 12: 570 new cases

Thats a downward trend

Only Phil would look at that pattern and claim it is a downward trend.

What happened in August and September when you assured us Sweden had already achieved herd immunity?

It is a downward pattern over 4 days.

Sweden has achieved a degree of herd immunity where the new infections have been reduced compared to many other EU countries. Go look at Portugal, Spain, France, Holland and Italy. Their new infection rate PER CAPITA is much higher

Still wrong it’s a 3 day drop and a 1 day spike.
You can call it a trend all you want but it’s nothing of the sorts that has any significance in controlling the spread of the Coronavirus.

Once again still incorrect.
Herd immunity ha absolutely zero relevance on how one country compares to another.
It has everything to do with how prevalent the spread of the virus is in one location in this case a country.
It’s still high in Sweden and nowhere close to the levels needed for herd immunity.

Your "Sweden Success" nonsense and your downward trend just blow up in your face once again.

As of last night they re adjusted the number of cases for the previous day, which is what I told you they do consistently.

Number of new cases reported as of yesterday morning for October 13: 613 new cases
Number of new cases re adjusted as of morning today for October 13: 916 new cases

OMFG this is stupid. I hate wearing a mask, but of course it helps. Everything helps.

Viruses don't have wings - they have to get transported on something. Sometimes it's a little water (vapour), sometimes a lot (droplets).

Normal masks and scarves etc don't stop everything, but they stop a lot of things. It's all just a matter of lowering the odds. N95 masks are best, but do what you can.

I sometimes think we could have used the last six months better by just forcing everyone to take some basic science classes.

You should go check that graph again. It WAS a downward trend for a couple days as part of the weekly reporting pattern. Now it is just part of the overall climbing trend.

And no, your herd immunity claims are more than stupid, especially considering that their cases have jumped over 300% in the past month.

Wisconsin has now a field hospital ready as they are being overwhelmed! Yet these yahoo's keep preaching let it rip through the countries.

That article is from almost a month ago and they abandoned that idiotic ship as soon as they thought about it, because it’s a failure of a strategy.

You really should first learn how herd immunity works before talking about things you absolutely no understanding of.

They went up again, but compared to Portugal, Spain, France, Holland, UK and Italy their daily new cases are extremely low.
I'll bet their 2nd wave will be minor and will only affect young people

Incorrect once again.
You really do need to educate yourself with what Sweden’s rate of infection is and it’s on par with other countries
As for only affecting younger people that is what's happening around the world and not specific to Sweden only. As for being minor it will be on par with what their Nordic neighbours will experience if not worse.

Not that you understand this or know what to look at to determine this fact.

Again Herd immunity has absolutely zero relevance on how one country compares to another.
It has everything to do with how prevalent the spread of the virus is in one location in this case a country.

Did you finally understand how it was neither a 5 day trend or a 4 day trend?
Did you finally understand that it’s not a trend of any significance regarding COVID which has been happening in Sweden all along?

Sweden has a MUCH lower infection rate than Portugal, Spain, France, Holland, UK and Italy.

Thats a fact!
