Masks

Oral masks belong in contexts where contacts with proven at-risk groups or people with upper respiratory complaints take place, and in a medical context/hospital-retirement home setting. They reduce the risk of droplet infection by sneezing or coughing. Oral masks in healthy individuals are ineffective against the spread of viral infections. 29 30 31

Wearing a mask is not without side effects. 32 33 Oxygen deficiency (headache, nausea, fatigue, loss of concentration) occurs fairly quickly, an effect similar to altitude sickness. Every day we now see patients complaining of headaches, sinus problems, respiratory problems and hyperventilation due to wearing masks. In addition, the accumulated CO2 leads to a toxic acidification of the organism which affects our immunity. Some experts even warn of an increased transmission of the virus in case of inappropriate use of the mask.34

Our Labour Code (Codex 6) refers to a CO2 content (ventilation in workplaces) of 900 ppm, maximum 1200 ppm in special circumstances. After wearing a mask for one minute, this toxic limit is considerably exceeded to values that are three to four times higher than these maximum values. Anyone who wears a mask is therefore in an extreme poorly ventilated room. 35

Inappropriate use of masks without a comprehensive medical cardio-pulmonary test file is therefore not recommended by recognized safety specialists for workers.
Hospitals have a sterile environment in their operating rooms where staff wear masks and there is precise regulation of humidity / temperature with appropriately monitored oxygen flow to compensate for this, thus meeting strict safety standards. 36

Sweden is absolutely not on a downward trend in the last 5 days. If you had the smallest amount of knowledge about Sweden Coronavirus measures you'd know why
LOL....are you really this dense?? Its actually 4 days not 5, but its still a downward trend.

Oct. 8: 835 new cases
Oct. 9: 785 new cases
Oct 10: 510 new cases
Oct 11: 161 new cases
Oct 12: 570 new cases

Thats a downward trend

Like I said if you had the smallest amount of knowledge on Sweden you'd know whey the numbers are what they are.

They are absolutely not on a downward trend
Their 7 day average from 5 days ago has gone up
October 5-------565
October 12-----639

Now try understanding why their numbers are what they are, I've actually explained both of these facts to you once possibly more than once before.

I didnt say their 7-day average, I said the last 5 days (well 4 days actually) shows a downward trend (which it does)

That's the difference between you and me, you look at the chart and without paying any real attention assume a drop for 5 days first, then change that assessment to 4 days.
Meanwhile I look at that chart the first time and understand it was a drop for 3 days in a row from the previous day and an increase on the 4th day from the day before.

Seeing the numbers of cases reduced 3 days and then going back up on the 4th day does not show a trend it has to be continuous for a longer period of time and it usually means absolutely nothing.
In the case of Sweden it means even less because Sweden's testing was horrible to begin with and has become even worse, they don't report numbers on the weekends , and they spend Monday-Wednesday reporting the numbers of tests for the last 5 days (Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday and Tuesday) and adjusting the numbers.

No, I didnt change anything. I made a typo thats all.

And I repeat, their new infections shows a downward trend over the last 4 days.
Its obviously too small a sample size, but that doesnt change the facts

BTW did you see their death rate now??? Over the last week only 4 deaths

It wasn't a typo it was what you perceived happen 5 days drop at first then 4 days drop and you're still wrong. LOL your still wrong it's only a drop in cases 3 days in a row from the day before and the 4th day is an increase from the previus day.

Yes it does actually, its called a 4-day trend
It means absolutely nothing in regards to COVID. In the case of COVID it has to be continuous for a longer period of time.

It will mean a lot if its the start of a longer downward trend

Masks for healthy people are useless and wearing one is very dehumanizing.
No one knows if they're healthy, i.e. not infected with C-19, & spreading it to others, thereby damaging their health and or murdering them, making them murderers.

Hence the need for the general population to wear masks.

Football players wear helmets. Responsible people wear masks & condoms. None of these are "dehumanizing". Quite the opposite, in fact.

The vast majority of health experts support the use of masks by the general populace.

The vast majority of countries either have mandated or recommended the use of masks by their people.

Okay, that you would try to show that graph and argue a downward trend is hilarious. Looks like they have similar downward trends every week. :)

A Centers for Disease Control report released in September shows that masks and face coverings are not effective in preventing the spread of COVID-19, even for those people who consistently wear them.

A study conducted in the United States in July found that when they compared 154 “case-patients,” who tested positive for COVID-19, to a control group of 160 participants from the same health care facility who were symptomatic but tested negative, over 70 percent of the case-patients were contaminated with the virus and fell ill despite “always” wearing a mask.

“In the 14 days before illness onset, 71% of case-patients and 74% of control participants reported always using cloth face coverings or other mask types when in public,” the report stated.

In addition, over 14 percent of the case-patients said they “often” wore a face covering and were still infected with the virus. The study also demonstrates that under 4 percent of the case-patients became sick with the virus even though they “never” wore a mask or face covering.
