I was at the park today and saw hundreds of people out there with only a handful wearing masks. It was so good to see that majority has not bought into the government and media yahoos fear mongering.

0ver 10,000 dead in Russia yesterday, the highest number reported anywhere.
They got it bad because the didn’t do the social distancing, lockdown, until too late.
They closed theirs boarder early and thought that would save them. Then UNreported cases ran rampant and the virus really took off. And lots of govt workers as well as the old and infirm.
If we (and the rest of the world) didn’t do the lockdown, it would have been really really bad.
New York City had the worst of it (now exceeded by Moscow) and they are certainly not ready to open yet.
People, me included, are dying to get out and back to normal. Govt, police and anyone else are NOT going to be able to stop it. But there will be lots of arguing and accusations on both sides. Tensions are running high. Expect more crazies coming out.
And economy. Yes we’re all hurting. Anybody remember the stock market tanking “Before” the lockdown just on speculation.
The economy will eventually recover, probably take years. But we’ll never get back all the friends and family and parents that died.
P.S. my opinion tends to be skewed toward the positive, sorry I can’t help it.
