I'm implying all religions are a pile of gigantic bullshit!!!!!!

Am I clear enough???
You do not have to be part of any religions, but making stupid statements implying that Catholics are not Christians is a phenomenal bullshit!!!!

If people want to be part of any faith, then it is purely their choice although you think that all religions are BS. Canada is a nation that is tolerant to all religions. No one gives a damn about your opinion with regards to this fact!!!

He’ll probably use the Vincent Li defence “ I heard voices telling me to do it” and be out in 5. All he needs is a sleazy attention seeking lawyer ala Clayton Ruby...
He'd do better with Marie Heinan, the lawyer who defended Jian Ghomeshi. "The suspect" is (was) a student so presumably doesn't have money. It will be interesting to see what calibre of defence counsel the court gives him.

The physical evidence against "the suspect" is beyond overwhelming so his defense will undoubtably argue diminished capacity. Some news agencies are reporting that he has Aspergers Syndrome, a severe form of Autism. The judge will undoubtably order a 30 day psychiatric evaluation.

I just hope that this incident doesn't begin a new wave of fear against people with mental illnesses. We have made so much progress in the past couple decades in mainstreaming people with mental difficulties into schools and businesses.

Everything being reported on this guy points to mental health issues as opposed to any ideological reason.
Are you for real?
He posted online about getting revenge on pretty girls who rejected him and was following the US cases for Rodgers
Left wing is SOOO desperate to spin this as a mental case it is just laughable

Dude went and rented a van for the sole purpose of running people over

Right, but how did you go quickly assume he was a Christian, he could've been a Catholic for all you know, couldnt he have??!!!
Funny that you openly suggested he was Muslim without any basis yet get upset that I say it is likely that a person from a country that is 99% Christian is a Christian.

I think there's been some doubts about the authenticity of that posting. It's extremely easy to create fake social media profiles.

Short of affordable artificial life-like females that can be fucked, this type of behaviour is unsurprising as more young males feel displaced, dislocated, and alienated in a world that has rendered them problematic or obsolete. Young men, idle or outcast, and with little means, have a tendency toward acts of violence. Expect more of this along with school shootings for similar reasons in the future.
Pretty fucked up that some people feel that the world owes them a girlfriend of their choice.

I guess Ryder will have to answer for why they rented to an autistic man.
Because he had a valid drivers license? If he didn't then they have a problem.

BTW. Plenty of functional people have autism. Bill Gates and Albert Einstein would fit into the same category.

They must say that, otherwise they will lost their job next week. I watch the news and nobody use the word " terror attack". It's forbidden in this liberal media. My opinion: It was a plotted terror attack against Canada. You can live in denial but this is the truth. 10 people died and the most important thing to lie to the public about the real reason. Pathetic. :censored:
Have you even read a single thing about the incident or are you simply just looking for more reasons to hate?

Really? You are using a 2011 link as a fact?
Back in 2011 there was no 9/11 and the Spring movement was just starting out

I'd be willing to bet a much higher percentage of Muslims today than back then
The epitome of intentional obliviousness.

The court doesn't give him anything. As he will undoubtedly be held without bail, he will have no income and get legal aid. He can choose a lawyer.

As you point out, the only issue is whether he had the intent for Murder One. Some counsel will accept the challenge of arguing that issue.

I've posted twice already that the burden of winning on the insanity defence is pretty vast unless there is a history of psychiatric treatment and clear break with any form of reality at the time of the crime. Throw in that the jury / judge who doesn't convict in what is already the most notorious crime in Canadian history will be reviled. This guy has almost no chance of beating the rap.

Autism, poor impulse control and anger issues do not relate to the insanity defence which concerns psychotic snaps, delusions, etc. But they could suggest that he had no premeditation and acted on impulse.

If his anger control is so low, you would think that he had a history of criminal offences however. But clearly he did not. He was accepted into the CAF for a brief period before requesting his discharge. He was functional enough to be accepted into the Armed Forces and could surf the Internet, post in forums and rent cars. That suggests that his Autism - if this is accurate at all - is very slight and not severe.

Yep. You notice where it says Muslims are less than 0.1% of the population?
I already pointed this out to him and he ignored my post and attacked me a couple more times in the thread......

Phil is like a kid who wants to play with his favourite toy truck - the one marked "Muslim Terrorist Conspiracy". Facts don't matter.
