What? Ya still sulking cause I called you on the fact your post was kind of useless to the thread? get over it and move on.
Bymark, are you referring to Chef Michael McEwen's joint? Yes he makes outstanding burgers. But I prefer the Steak Queen Homeburger at 1/3 of the price.
Bymark's burger had a price in excess of $30 last time I checked and was not ground beef but a pulverised grilled strip loin steak on an artisan bun topped with a grilled mushroom with mayonnaise mixed with truffle. This is more a glorified philly cheese steak sandwich than a burger.
Is there a Steak Queen still around? I have not seen one since they closed their location at Vic Park and Lawrence in ScarborughBymark, are you referring to Chef Michael McEwen's joint? Yes he makes outstanding burgers. But I prefer the Steak Queen Homeburger at 1/3 of the price.
Didn't know they had one in Scarborough, it's always been an Rexdale entity to me (Rexdale - Martin Grove). The Homeburger is great and, unlike others palces, you get your choice of HP, Heinz 57 or BBQ sauce. Is there a Steak Queen still around? Cool. Thanks. I guess I should make a drive out there. I used to get the homeburger in Scarborough. They also used to have fried onions as well as various sauces.Didn't know they had one in Scarborough, it's always been an Rexdale entity to me (Rexdale - Martin Grove). For a bried period it became the focal point of Rasta culture.
Any Lick's location will do!Im talking home style and BIG that only takes one to fill pretty much any full grown man.
On a side note I could eat a Wendys Double any day of the week it has that homestyle flavor in the beef.
