Yonge St., from the top of Hogg's Hollow to north of Lawrence has about 6 places.

Burger's Priest
Hero Burger
MacDonald's (not saying it is good)
Burger Cellar
Stack

And the newest and my current favourite, the McCoy Burger. Similar style to the Priest but I think it is a better constructed burger and juicier. They can cook it to order, i.e. can be cooked rarer than medium well.
I agree. Your list is a good one, but my current favourite is McCoy's as well. A good burger, and the best value along that strip, not to mention their loyalty card...

I wasn't sure where to go for lunch. That dilemma has been rectified.

There is a Licks still open in Scarborough. Morningside and Kingston rd. Someone mentioned that the remaining Licks may be indy, I have no idea. Was never a fan.

I like Burger's Priest, not everyone does, also like Five Guys.

There is a little takeout joint here in Scarborough on Markham rd south of Ellesmere called The Real McCoy Burger and Pizza. Not sure it is apart of the chain. I have never been to any of the other locations.
If you are in the area and want a good burger get the MOJO 8oz combo.

...but just ordering at Weber's is an event worth attending in itself.
Sadly the event is more significant than the actual burger. In terms of the meat I put them in the same category as burger priest - decent but nothing special.

I appreciate them having real ice cream shakes though.

Not a chain. Indy owned & operated for 30+ years.

I came from Etobicoke, so apache burgers after a nite out was a regular event.
But now that I live in Durham, Pete's Big Bite is my favourite burger joint. Pete's always there, it's old style, a car memorabilia type place. And all the hot rodder's in the area show up every Friday nite. Lots of cool cars, all domestic, especially Corvettes.

 Been to two different burger priests. I don't get the hype. Burgers and portions are small. Price is high.

Forgot about Big Moe's. There are four or five throughout the GTA. There are a couple we visit from time to time.
In Scarborough on Lawrence just west of Warden, south side and on Pape a few steps north of Cosburn across from McDonald's, which conveniently provides a parking lot. Get the Juicy Lucy. If you go on a Thursday it is the special of the day. Specials are Monday - Thursday.

I see my error. The other is called McCoy Burger.
That's the one I've been touting. My current fave. Similar style to Priest, but bigger and better. Also friendlier staff.

Unfortunately it is too close to my place. Makes it more difficult to maintain my girlish figure.
