Seriously. Mistakes happen. The Jays have been lucky to have Goins' defines. He has saved a hell of a lot more runs than he has cost them. Your statement is foolish.
Aww, poor baby, did I insult your favorite player? Boo hoo.

Goins cost them that game. Period.

I never played baseball in my life. But, Jays batters need to stop pulling the fricking ball! Go the other way like Goins did yesterday. KC continue to pitch Jays outside till Jays adjusted.
Latroy pitching...game over:Eek:

It's obvious why KC had the best W-L record in the AL and pushed hard right to the end of the regular season. These guys are relentless.

Wow 9-2. Haven't seen a series where Toronto has been so over matched and outplayed.

Here
I guess the veterans just don't have it tonight... :frusty:

Hawkins pitched well for one or two games when he first came here but has gone steadily downhill ever since.

I have never been a fan of Dickey's. He has not pitched nearly well enough for the BJ's [certainly not Cy Young material - that was just a fluke year] even though he had a bit of a good streak this year since the ASG. The problem is that his knuckler is much too unpredictable and unreliable - which may be more or less acceptable over a full season [he did go 11 & 11] but portends disaster in the post season.... which, of course, is self evident.

I am still very much an optimistic fan, but I don't think the BJ's can beat this team 3 straight.

I hope I am wrong.

You right. The best Jays can do is force a game 6. A miracle to go to game 7 but they'll lose that. Can't see the Jays getting past a KC hitting machine.

I think Gibby just finally ran out of bullpen. With a block of 3 consecutive games, he couldn't keep using Sanchez and Osuna to close out games - although I notice he is using Lowe again tonight.

LaTroy Hawkins and Tepera can't get the job done and the game has spun out of control.

Toronto's ability to win in this series entails winning the battle of the starters and hitting the 7th inning with the lead. We cannot match up with their Pen. We should have been able to match up with their starters and beat them. We haven't.

Dickey is always prone to bad outings. He didn't have them very often in August and September and we made a pennant run. He had an awful outing today. The KC guy was better than solid and shut us down. So we LOST the battle of the starters and then lost even bigger when we matched Pens.

Price had a melt down in the 7th in Game #2. So we lost that one too.

I think we can fairly say that this is the low point of the season so far. :(
