Well I was partially right, a rookie did pitch a no-no. Just not the one I wanted.

The Giants rookie had divine intervention on his side, he did not take the name of the Lord in vain. I hope Sanchez says his prayers.

Any other pearls of wisdom with which to shower us?
My posts are accurate. EE was playing with an injury, thats why he sucked the last month or so. But once he's healed up I hope he can carry the team.

And WTF, we go on a 7-game winning streak and those hated Yankees go on one as well.

*sigh* :(

My posts are accurate.
"I dislike him."
"Why is he even on the team?"
"All he does is is hit solo homers with a big lead and GIDP."

You were referring to his performance all season, not just during his recent and short-lived shoulder injury.

You can keep backtracking but your comments are on record for all to see.

Not backtracking at all. I'm too lazy to google his stats in depth, but it seemed to me many of his homeruns and RBI's this season were not clutch hits.

And I was right when I suspected he might be playing with an injury.

Anywho, I hope he has a great season from here on out. We need his bat

Copeland is 4-1 with an era of 1.97 for Buffalo.
This is his first MLB start.
He was called up for this spot start to give Sanchez some rest.
I happen to agree with an earlier statement that 'the rest' could have come in a week or two.
It went from resting Sanchez to he is sore. If he is sore then , by all means sit him down. At least that makes more sense than 'resting' him in the midst of a winning streak.

Copeland came through with an excellent 7 innings, and the streak continues! and sitting Sanchez is now a moot point.
good game, and thanks to the crappy weather hear got to watch most of it.

Now if the NYY would just lose one. Started making lunch for work, Yanks down 0-2. Just finished, its 2-2..lol

But great win for the Jays. Starting pitching was a treat to watch. Copeland gave up a hit or run, he went right back pounding the strike zone.

Koehler however was all over the place, and I was wondering when a Jay would crush one of those first pitch strikes. Smoak did just that with a monster.
Yanks rally for four in the seventh. Yanks going for 8 wins in a row, they're starting to make a breakaway from the rest of the division so we need to keep up the wins.

.
4-4 now.

I just don't believe the Yankees can sustain this but they keep surprising....

Go Washington!

(Looking forward to finally beating a team in our own division so we can pull away a bit).

Washington win 5-4.

YES network commentators sounded a bit worried about Jays creeping up on the Yankees
