The Palestinian Authority was recently found responsible for supporting terrorism by an American court. They rewarded and encouraged extreme violence against civilians including blowing up a school cafeteria. When I said "the Palestinians" don't want peace, I did not mean only Hamas. Hamas are just the most vocal. Neither the PLO nor the PA want peace either. So who exactly is going to stabilize the Palestinians?I don't think democracy is good for all situations. They can be democratic in the future but the situation needs to be stabilized first like how Japan and Korea when tough transitory stages with pseudo democracies under firm guidance. Perhaps with their constitution being written with some external assistance.
With Hamas you have said that Israel should have re-invaded Gaza to overthrow them (even though you at times say they were democratically elected) but obviously Israel isn't in a position to change the Palestinians minds.
