Hello Calgary Police? What part of Extortion isn't met by these facts? Perhaps there is something the Sun isn't mentioning about the warning?

"Calgary police visited the man that day, warned him to leave her alone and she hasn’t heard from him since.

Turns out the man she thought was 46 and capable of hiring a high-end escort was actually 58 and living with his mom."

I thought he was at sea enroute from New Orleans to the Bahamas?

I wouldn't think news of actual charges against the bozo would travel much farther then the story of the police visit. We'd have to assume literate and cognitively aware bad guys who watched the news for starters. The paperwork-free visit has presumably accomplished the same immediate result, if not, perhaps his Mom now has useful info about Junior. In any case, we know how little deterrent effect charging 'some other guy' has on other wrongdoers, be they ordinary citizens or members of the criminal classes.

Our media have carried lots of stories of charges and fines against drivers on their phones as just one example.

Somebody asked if it was me! Today! It isn't! We just share the same name in the artical!

And anybody that knows me knows I'm not in medic school!

A letter from a lawyer friend to his home that he would be reported to the police for trying to extort her might have sufficed too. Doesn't take much to commit extortion.

Read the article. Even before medical school tuition fees and books, her living costs are about $4,000 per month. She breaks even at gross income of $5,000 per month.

Nor does my hair look so scraggly! Or nose like that! And I don't mean that in a rude way.

But I do feel bad for this girl, it's probably really frightening what happed, most guys would just threaten bad reviews or something like what happed to heather,

I can only imagine what she must feel like! Poor thing!

Wow, how is she charging so much? Hope she looks hotter IRL than her silhouette shows. Hopefully my ATF doesn't see this and jack up her rates.

Seriously though, girls need to be careful who they share info with, look at the former Olympian escort who got outted by her clients.
Putting the rates in the article seems a bit tacky - although nothing there says those are actually her rates. They could be just making that up. Similarly, the photo could be from a stock service or whatever as they just imply it's a photo of 'Kate' but don't actually say so.

What really gets me..is if those #'s that the paper quoted are her actual #'s....why the fuck would she take a pay cut to become a doctor???LOL
and not half the fucking headaches that come associated with it...plus their salary is capped!WTF...(I hope you realize that this was said with tongue firmly planted in cheek);)

they put too much info about this escort on the article, some can guess who she is.
And what would you or anyone else do with that info? If you confront her with it, I would assume she now has the police on speed dial, who would attentively listen to her.

LOL did i say i was going to confront her with it? even if i did book an appointment with her ( which is now confirmed that it's not the same girl i was first thinking about ) why would i even bring up the subject if had a session with her? lool

are you the bodyguard of the girl IN the ARTICLE? lol or just have a stick up your ass? :)

That's my point. Why would anyone bring it up?

As for me being her bodyguard - yes I am, and the stick up my ass is how she pays me. It's a fetish of mine.

I read the story. Fully, I don't think the SP told that client anything about her being a doctor? I obviously wouldn't know what she told him or what he did, neither could any of us? We were t part of there exchange.

But my heart goes out to her, i guess everyone who's involved in this with world has something to lose? Maybe sometimes more so the ladies in it.

Wither she was right or wrong to make it public you decided. But I don't think anyone should have to deal with getting threatened in any part of anyone's life.

Do I think the sun did what news papers do and sensationalize this? Probably. But I think the core of the artical is pretty interesting and good!

There's two sides to every story. At the end of the day (unless my reading comprehension fails) the guy is out $700 and didn't get laid. Notwithstanding everything else, that's kinda sad.

Telling the guy she was texting and emailing that she was in school to become a doctor was one mistake. Going to the media with the story compounds the mistake.
I don't know whether she said that. What she did say, however is that she let her guard down a bit. What that means we'll never know. However, in this day and age, it is SO EASY to find-out people's personal information from the slightest letting down of one's guard.

“He seemed nice on the phone, so I let my guard down a little,” Kate said.

But in her line of work, letting your guard down can have deadly consequences.

Living expenses as a SP of 4k per month are actually not all that unheard of. That was around what I spent monthly in 2003-2004. Rent at home, rent at incall, transportation, ads, work and personal clothing, maintenance (hair, nails, etc.), "supplies", food, utilities, etc.

What really gets me..is if those #'s that the paper quoted are her actual #'s....why the fuck would she take a pay cut to become a doctor???LOL

The salary may be capped... but the industry only pays off for so long, while being a Dr can last 40 years. *eyebrow wiggle*
