It's a free country, it's their right to ask and it's your right to decline. Part of the business.

It's fun when they book an appointment and know your rate and then show up and haggle.

Now you owe me a 50.00 cancellation fee, you're blacklisted, and I refuse to go through with the appointment.

In my mind the clients that are used to being able to haggle girls are seeing girls who are willing to be haggled, and sadly a lot of those girls will provide bbfs for an extra 20-40 and let you cum in them for another 20-40. I will never accept anybody who haggles rates and services as a client for this reason.

It can't be compared to any other business. We're talking about an intimate encounter which includes health risks. What do you mean you want me to suck your bare dick for 60 ?! What is 60 going to do for me? Please god spend that 60 on somebody else and stay far from me because you obviously don't value your health. How many dicks does a girl have to suck at a rate of 60/dick to pay her bills and work expenses? Why would you want that. Thinking about this hurts my head.

So to answer your question, yes it bothers me, but it probably won't change because there are girls that will accept 60.00. I see ads with 50, 60, 80 specials everyday. So I just pray we don't all get HIV, add the person to my blacklist, and delete their message. Then I think happy thoughts.

+1 well said

Simple... First, don't take it personally. Some guy are just douchebags... and, whenever they try that tactic that so and so is cheaper, tell them that you have no control over other SP's rates, and if they'd rather, to book with them, then.

Negotiating rates is SO disrespectful.
You are just a C grade white knight who embellishes over-the-top reviews to get favours.

Suppose when you arrive at work the boss asks if you'll take a 10% cut in pay for that day. Would it piss you off a little bit or would you take it in stride as just your usual negotiating that comes with life?
negotiation is part of life.

I've seen the top indy's and the top agencies offer discounts. I believe it's good business practice.

Very few SPs have many employees.

With respect to your question about "Do you ever have slow times", my room mate was doing her MBA and helped me with the business aspects of making money. By the time I came to Toronto for my first week as an SP I had already booked several men. (2 hr minimum).

So that week I had no empty slots (pun intended). My first client liked me and basically made me an offer I could not resist and kept me for the entire week. I traveled to Toronto and worked several weekends till I retired 4 months later. I hard a target ($40k), I met it, I retired. No significant "not busy" time.

If you give a discount your client will tell everyone and that becomes your new "rate". It is a sucker deal. AS long as you have the income you want NEVER lower your rate or give discounts.
Well done, sir.

Let's see how free you see it.

Do you try to negotiate a lower price for dinner at Barberian's or Rosewater?
Do you try to negotiate a lower price for a suit at Harry Rosen or Holt Renfrew?
Do you try to negotiate a lower price for a diamond ring at Tiffany's or Cartier store?
Do you try to negotiate a lower price for a sports ticket at the box office for the Blue Jays or Maple Leafs?

There are just some things you know you don't negotiate. Just like there are many ladies you know you just don't negotiate.

In my bum
Negotiating rates is SO disrespectful.
Overcharging because you think you are hot shit and you think your service is phenomenal, is even more disrespectful.
Sorry but no pussy is worth $300 or $400 an hr. ooooooooooooohhh so what you made a couple porn vids for the internet. Bitch you ain't worth $400 an hr. Fuck off.

The sp's who price accordingly, good for you. This $300 plus pussy rate is outrageous. Your pussy is not made of gold.

I worked in food service industry to try and put myself through school, you would be horrified to know what some people do to your food when you complain :(.

Do you ask your doctor to offer a discount?

How about your shrink, any haggling with him/her to lower their costs for you?

Or how about your dentist? Sports therapists?

There are many service providers that discounts are not negotiated, just like there are some services that negotiating is common. You can't conclude that all service providers are the same, just like you can't conclude all product providers can be negotiated with. Some yes, some no.
