In the the early 60s there was a traffic light at Hy 400 , 401 .

The Automotive Building at Exhibition showed the new car models from the big 3 in August, September for the next following year.

I've sure gotten old! I have outlived my feet and my teeth
I've had two bypass surgeries, a hip replacement, new knees, fought
prostate cancer and diabetes I'm half blind, can't hear anything
quieter than a jet engine, take 40 different medications that make
me dizzy, winded, and subject to blackouts.
Have bouts with dementia.
Have poor circulation;
hardly feel my hands and feet anymore.
Can't remember if I'm 69 or 96.
Have lost all my friends. But, thank God, I still have my driver's license.

Phil, is that you man?
You sound so much like one of my neighbours.
We are thankful for the deep ditches along our street. They form a natural barrier and our only defense from his 4x4 pickup.
He has had to be extracted by tow truck at least three times that I'm aware of.
Another time he made it across the driveway of one house, took out most of the front landscaping and almost hit the home. He then tried to deny it was him, shrubs, branches and flowers in his grill and underbody.
He has also gone over the curb several times at the local Tim's but not yet through the window in front of the disabled parking space.
On his dizzier days the manager or one of the girls has to help walk him out and get in to his death mobile.
He has passed his over 80 drivers test and the police refuse to do anything.
His children have spoken to his Dr. and he continues to let it go on also.
Last year I went off the road to avoid a head on crash, during a snow fall. The guy coming at me had tried to pass a slow moving car in front of him and lost it. My car went over the curb on one side only, no damage.
A cop was right there after but didn't see what had happened. He just saw my car up on the curb. I had several witnesses that corroborated my story. One even said I had been heroic.
Charged with careless which stuck, 6 points plus monitary penalty and you don't want to know the jump in insurance. ????????????????????
Phil waves when he DRIVES by, if he sees me.

NTM. If you are in contact with the kids another tact may be to contact the insurance company to deny him coverage. They may go for it. No insurance. No driving.

The subway ended at Eglinton and a transfer was needed for Zone 2.
Bars had men only and couples only sections,
Had to ask a waiter to carry your drink if you wanted to change tables. Did I remember that correctly?

An elderly couple asked another elderly couple to their place for supper one evening. The women were working in the kitchen while the men were chatting in the living room.
One of the old guys was telling his friend about a new restaurant that had recently opened in town. His friend asked "what is the name of this place?" The first old gent thought for a while and then said, "what's that flower some people have in their gardens?" The second guy said,"snapdragons?" The first guy said,"nope that's not it." The second man then named off every flower he could think of but none were correct until he suggested roses. The first guy said,"that's it!" He yelled out to the kitchen,"ROSE, what's the name of that new restaurant!"

When going out, you care less about what you wear and what you look like...all that's important is that you're warm!

This. lol

When I was younger it was all about dressing up, doing my makeup, etc. I would freeze my ass off for the sake of fashion. Now I just prefer things to be simple and comfortable. In my late 30's, I can still dress fairly casually and go out without a single drop of makeup and still get hit on. ;)

Old is a word, a concept. Nothing else. You can't be old if your thoughts and feelings are filled with positiveness and brightness.
