Okay, so if you aren't for Israel's position, then why dont you support the pro-Palestinian protestors? They are not asking to genocide Jews. They are asking for Palestinian sovereignty. With Palestinian sovereignty comes peace and an end to all these things.

SO no, I don't engage and will not support them fully until there can be a more open conversation like the one we are having. it's congenial and respectful and open minded.
and also for the record, I read through your UN doc and it does say they found evidence of rape and murder and atrocities, so maybe it's been updated since you initially read it.

On the other hand, the "river to the sea" phrase was first used by the PLO in the 60s, to ask for a secular democratic state.

But Israel does not want a secular democratic state. What they want is a religious ethnostate.

So tell me, who is calling for whose genocide, especially based on what has transpired since October 7? Also tell me who is calling for whose genocide based on what Yaov Gallant says below:

Oh and also the UN report does not say it found any evidence. The UN report says, there is convincing evidence, to warrant an investigation into rape. Aka there is circumstantial evidence by way of pictures of naked women who were shot, to warrant further investigation. But that actual evidence of rape was not found - neither forensic nor survivor testimonies. It also states that the group did not go there in an investigative capacity.

Iran said that they would launch some kind of a response and they launched a paper tiger of one to save face.
Iran knew that there would be no civilian casualties with this superficial drone and missile attack.
Israel still remains in constant peril but is up the task of defending themselves along with US and UK backstopping.
I believe that after today, de-escalation will probably start as nobody wants a war , especially the superpowers.

That's my view of what Iran is doing here, but Israel really does look like it wants escalation if it can get the US or UK to do the brunt of the work.
The question is whether or not cooler heads can prevail and whether or not Bibi thinks he gains more benefit from a wider conflict.

A video clip aired by Iran’s state TV service claiming to show fiery destruction in Israel due to a massive Iranian missile and drone attack is months-old footage of a fire in Chile, a reporter for a fact-finding division of the BBC clarified Sunday.

Shayan Sardarizadeh posted screen captures from the video broadcast by Iran alongside shots from the same video circulating on social media earlier this year.

Iran on Saturday night launched a large wave of around 300 attack drones and missiles from its territory toward the Jewish state, in the first-ever direct attack on Israel by the Islamic Republic, triggering air raid sirens throughout the country.


Tensions between Israel and Iran had reached a new high in recent days as the Islamic Republic vowed to avenge seven Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps members, including two generals, who were killed in an alleged Israeli airstrike on a building near Tehran’s consulate in Damascus on April 1.

The Israel Defense Forces said Sunday that 99 percent of the incoming missiles and drones were downed before they reached the country. Several ballistic missiles hit inside an airbase, causing minor damage. The US, UK, France, and Jordan all participated in efforts to intercept the incoming drones.
