Iran said that they would launch some kind of a response and they launched a paper tiger of one to save face.
Iran knew that there would be no civilian casualties with this superficial drone and missile attack.
Israel still remains in constant peril but is up the task of defending themselves along with US and UK backstopping.
I believe that after today, de-escalation will probably start as nobody wants a war , especially the superpowers.
Iran warned everyone and launched a smaller attack that they knew could be stopped.
They targeted military bases and declared it to be within their UN rights to respond to Israel's embassy attack.
Then they declared their response finished.
Seems like it was fairly smart politically, enough of a response to remind the Israeli population of what war with Iran could entail and enough for Biden to say that even he won't support starting a war with Iran over the response.
The question still remains whether Netanyahu will try to use it as justification for war even after the US said they won't join in.
Hopefully not, I don't think anyone other than Netanyahu wants this war to start.
