Christine Sinclair is Canada's inspirational leader. Not Janine Beckie!!!
With all do respect to Christine she's an introvert, she doesn't do that many interviews. Janine is bubbly, she knows how to promote herself and the sport to Canadians. Coming in as a substitute is to play the trequartista position is what she's supposed to do. Btw why wasn't Julia Grosso playing?

Maybe Huitema shouldn't have been at the post for the corner kick, Kedeisha Buchanan would have cleared the ball. I'm relieved that Adriana Leon scored, supercute Jessie Flemming was tireless in midfield. Canada will get stronger as the tournament continues.

Piers Morgan is a menace to civil engineering, he's cracking sidewalks with his farts. He has a problem with Quinn playing for Canada, I wont justify him by posting his comments.

The girls played much better today, Sinclair could've squeezed a couple more in. I would do Leon.
😘
Hell yeah, she does look weird on some angles but thay doesn't stop me from wanting to give it to her.

South Korea, Portugal, China, Haiti, Zambia, South Africa, Costa Rica, Jamaica all having better odds than Nigeria demonstrates the IGNORAMUS phenomenon. Confirmation? The bottom ranked Philippines also beat New Zealand the other day

Although betting Nigeria now at 750:1 odds is just a hindsight bet, even if you had bet it on a futures bet and it moved up to 150:1 and they sneak out of Group B, they still have to contend with the possibility of England and Germany later. Even if they pull off all the upsets, later have to face on the other side of the bracket, USA or Spain. Futures bets are like Deal or No Deal propositions. Go all the way at 750:1 or cash it in along the way ? ( you have to win 6 or 7 times ). Hedging gets very expensive since the other side of your Nigeria bet could be like -500 or more. Apologies, I'm getting too technical here, it's just that I look at all the popular sports/or matchups and I visualize how could I prosper from this ? I know it's an expensive bet, but I bet Spain to reach the QF at -450, lots of betting on that prop and it's moved to -750 so I know lots of people have the same bet on . Good luck to all the Nigeria backers who got in at 750:1 ! And don't forget to cash out soon. Hint hint ! :p

This is a real touching story for this young Colombian rising Star called Linda Caicedo. At the age of 15 she made her debut at women's top flight.
She had to battle Ovarian Cancer and yet she overcame it to score for her country:

Watched the highlights and her performance was tremendous in the manner with her dribbling skills.
Hopefully, Colombia can at least make the playoffs.

Some of her skills:
Linda Caicedo suffered a health episode in training today. Apparently due to stress. Pronounced okay

I only started watching women's soccer last week, but here are my predictions that I made just from watching a handful of games and studying Las Vegas odds:

USA and Holland cannot meet in R16.
If/when both go through they play 1st and 2nd finishers of group G.
See here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2023_FIFA_Women's_World_Cup

EDIT: and all your other brackets are wrong as well. Might wanna redo this

France 2 - 1 Brazil. Sacre blue.

Cant believe Marta is still playing. She's been on NT since 2002.
Brazil looked vulnerable. Its anyone's tournament now

The Italians came back down to earth with a thud, Sweden wins 5-0. They have a long way to go with the women's program, which was practically abandoned while the State adapted to the Euro.

Do you it has to do with the slightly misogynistic side of the italien in general? Who still tend to view women in the kitchen?

Asking politely because it’s unbelievable that while Spain developed into a powerful nation the Italian squad has not.

I think Jessie Fleming is the smallest player (5'5") on the Canadian team.
