Canada 0 Nigeria 0. Sinclair missed a penalty. Poor start.

Right footed player standing over the ball to their left invariably kick penalty to the left of the keeper. So to score, the kick has to be high not on the ground. Sinclair kicked it on the ground. Saved. Do these players practice penalty kicks? Makes you wonder

Canada facing Republic of Ireland next on Wednesday at 8:00 am. Drawing against Nigeria makes this a must win for advancement. Offense still lacking Jordyn Huitema still firing blanks. Sadly

It was a brutally boring game. Overall skill level on both teams for first 75 minutes was pathetic. Last 10 to 15 minutes was much better.

I digress a bit, but it reminds me of when the NHL started shoot-outs and lots of players not used to going on the goalie solo, shot wide or no shot. No shot, come on man ! Or NBA free throw shooters who just throw up a shot like they don't care. My grandmother could of made that penalty shot on her wrong foot ! :ROFLMAO:

Huitema has been in a funk ever since Fonzo stopped giving her the meat plough. She is hot but sweet Janine is hotter.

She's sorely missed, her leadership qualities cannot be underestimated.

She wears Diego Maradona's No. 10. With Janine and Jessie injured, the remaining attackers have to do a better job of making Ashley Lawrence's crosses count. Otherwise she'll have to carry the team herself.

Alex Morgan of the US Team missed an easy PK against Vietnam yesterday as well. It happens. Still doesn't stop me from wanting to put a baby deep in her rectum anyway.....😈

Havent seen a clear cut favourite yet.
USA missed a boatload of chances, so finishing might be a problem for them.

England beat Haiti by only 1-0 on a retaken penalty kick. No cheapie teams, perhaps apart from Zambia who were thumped 5-0 by Japan
