So, he needs prompts. Nothing wrong with that.

But, who is trying to connect with when he mentions Herbert Hoover? I mean Herbert Hoover??? Really, I'm 56 and I like to think I'm in the know on most things, but have no idea why Herbert Hoover is bad. He was the President at the start of the Great Depression, but still that's a deep cut.
That's why Joe did so bad in the debate last night, because Joe didn't have his teleprompter......LMAO

I actually agree with this. Kamala should run. She is the VP after all. If they pick Newsome to replace Biden, that is just a huge snub to the one that has already been VP.
No snub. VP's aren't automatically the next Presidential nominee. Biden knows that first hand and Mike Pence knows that by the skin of his neck.

Yet his governing hasn't shown any reason to remove him from his position. If there's faults in his governing I would agree with you, but there just hasn't been. That might be because he's still mentally competent, despite not being sharp off the cuff, or it might be that he's built a strong team. Either way, no evidence at this time for him to be removed as President.
The nation didn't elect a team to run it for him.

Yes. They should have brought in Newsome as their candidate in 2020 or atleast brought him in as VP. Would have been easier this time around.
Because the Democrats couldn't have 2 white guys on the ticket. I'm not saying that's right, or wrong, but they felt they couldn't and it apparently worked as the Democrats won the last election. Also, why would Newsome want to play second fiddle to Biden vs. first fiddle in California which provided Regan with a direct path to the presidency.

I don't think VP is a direct path to being President.

VP's haven't been that successful in becoming President.

But, everyone knows it's a team that runs the government. Led by a leader. No one IRL thinks it's one guy. If you have to google IRL, then give up.

July Tenth congress returns. This should be fun to watch.
Impeachment is a mugs game. I told that to a guy sitting at a Sushi Bar in Dallas in 2019 when he asked me what I thought of Trump and the Democrats wanting to impeach him. That was after I told him I was Canadian and had no right to comment as I didn't have any skin in the game.

He pressed me so I said it's a "mug's game". He didn't know what a mug's game was, so I told him a game you can't win, you have to beat him in an election.

My same comment to the Republicans. Beat him at the ballot box. And it's not rigged, just beat him.

The Democrats are working as a team. Which makes far less dangerous than the dictator psycho.
Actually what you said is counterintuitive. Think about it. What's more dangerous? The team that works to hide something as big as this with the power of the liberal media helping to conceal it. Or the lone wolf held in check by other branches of government.

That's a refreshing thought. Beat the guy who is allegedly destroying democracy rather than rely on Colorado or a Manhattan D.A. to take him down.

Where was this Biden last night?

Remember he is a stutterer and his slipups here are actually stutters.

If it is because he had the teleprompter then why did the Dems insist on the debate where there was none?

Something is wrong in the state of Denmark (Shakespeare)

Biden should have the dignity to resign from the race but his backers would lose their jobs
and tell him not to IMHO

And hair and make up just had a bad night. Otherwise he was fine. Except for the "being a living corpse" bit. As Nicholas Kristoff pointed out, all over America people are having the discussion with their aged parents about taking away the car keys. It's not just one bad night he is having.

Trump was eating Joe's lunch today at a rally

Gavin Newsom stands out as a strong contender. His articulate, he's polished, the ladies will love him and in debates suggests he could effectively counterpunch Trump with facts and a healthy dose of reality.
I am not exactly sure a Presidential Candidate Newsom wants to campaign on his California record. While economic issues tend to cut down the middle, I don't think Americans will like Newsom's regulatory, cultural and law enforcement policies.

I'm not exactly sure how progressive California Democrats are vis-a-vis Canada's Liberals, but I sense they are copacetic on some issues and Cali Dems would be considered bat shit crazy on others up North.

Kamala's even more unpopular then Joe is!!
Except, Kamala is not likeable and has not been a memorable VP.
No one likes her and from all appearances she hasn't made any friends in the Democratic Party.
She was elected with the full knowledge that she would be a 77-year-old's heartbeat away from the Presidency.

What changed? Its that everyone realized the mistake of hiring someone purely for superficial appearances.
