Here is the entire unedited exchange, with context lead up. After this night Kamala's standing nosedived and it was considered a knockout punch. More came later where she said things like we need harsher sentences to have more prison labor to fight fires in California. Joked about imprisoning for Pot possession. And more.

Withholding evidence in a death penatly case? Killed her campaign.

This all comes back again. You don't remember it. But the nation will be reminded.

Will funding be fine? Rich people back winners. And pay for access.
Oh yeah…I’d forgotten about her.

What’s Tulsi up to these days? Last I heard she was doing guest spots on Fox and speaking at CPAC.

Who’s Tulsi?
You remember her.
The "great progressive" who was obviously the best person to be Bernie Sanders's vice president according to some people.

She's talking about how honored she would be to be chosen as Trump's Vice President.

Tulsi was never a Dem in the first place. Unfortunately for Tulsi, she lives in a Blue state that primarily elects Dems…so in order for Tulsi to acquire power she had to try to pretend to be something she never was. It reflects poorly on her character (and on the character of those who support her).

This is where you are wrong. She never changed. That's why she fell out with the Dems. They wanted her to be something she isn't. And then she watched the falsehood that was thec2016 primary and realized it was the Dems who weren't who they tell people they are.

Her message hasn't changed.

Prove me wrong.
I keep explaining this to you but you never listen. It’s the Cruncher to Far Right Pipeline: as people become increasingly fringey and extreme in their views it becomes increasingly difficult to tell the Far Left from the Far Right. Tulsi is a product of the pipeline…just like you, just like the guy who atacked Nancy Pelosi’s husband with an hammer.

So, you can't. She hasn't changed her views. She is primarily a critic of how the US military is used overseas placing service members in danger for no good reason. As a Veteran she has experience with this. Then as a Congresswoman she has experience with how the Washington concencus works on foreign Interventionist policy. Finally she was a DNC vice chair who was at one point considered a successor to Hillary Clinton in the making. Before resigning in protest over how the primary was run. She then chose to run a long shot bid to both highlight these criticisms in 2020 and bring her ideas to the Democratic party marketplace.

There is no extremism here. And unless you can post clear extremist views publicly made by her, you are just parroting social media bullshit.

Well…let’s start with her endorsement of Donald Trump and expressed desire to be his running mate.

No, that's not an extremist view. It's her stating that, just as 10s of millions of Americans have, that his policies can be aligned with her thought processes on military usage, foreign affairs, and other issues.

Just because you disagree with some policy decisions, which btw are actually shared by some Democrats, doesn't mean they are extremist. That is simplistic.

That doesn't mean she wasn't a Dem.
That's just "true scotsman" territory.

The US parties are more ideologically consistent than they used to be, but they have always had this kind of element of regionalism involved.

It reflects poorly on her character (and on the character of those who support her).
I think there are other reasons to think she isn't of much character than the "Only Democrats get elected here, therefore I am a Democrat" thing.

I agree she wasn't.
Why do you think I put it in quotes?

I wasn't the one pitching her as a progressive, even back when some people were saying she should be Bernie's VP pick.

Neither did I. No one did. They pitched her as anti foreign Interventionist. Some call it progressive, some call it isolationism. Some call it America First.

It's a more common sentiment then many realize. And crosses political ideology.

Your quotes were quite lost in translation.

Well, you got me.
I'm not going to do a search to find you talking about her progressive stances.
