How many things must have gone wrong or how high is your tolerance before you called it quit with your marriage? Is it money a number one factor? I doubt it because you can look at Hollywood couples splitting ups everyday. They have money but no love? My friend is going through a divorce right now. Between the two of them they make more than 500k pre tax! So, what's a specific thing that happened during the marriage that would make you say 'it ain't working for us'?

If both are making good money, there is no economic incentive to put up with anything. It might be a few minor issues, or something major. I'm sure there are two sides to the story.

Here
Thats a very complicated question and there are as many reasons as there are marriages. In my case we just didnt love each other any more. We tried to stay togeather for the kids but with the constant fighting and the terrible things we said in front of the kids it was let go.

Relationships fail when both parties no longer want it to work.

As long as you're both in the game, anything is possible.

There's always a good pussy or a good cock behind every separation. And sadly it's always not from both.

Stage 1: She has morphed from a sexy, fun, well groomed, physically fit woman that swallows into a fat, bitchy, unshaven, blob unwilling to make any effort to maker herself attractive or please her husband.

Stage 2: He meets a sexy, fun, well groomed, physically fit woman that swallows who likes him.

Stage 3: He chooses life over a slow agonizing death.

I'll let someone from the female contingent fill in their perspective of the above synopsis.

My ex and I argued about everything - except sex and money. (Ironically, the two things we never argued about.)

But she was always ALWAYS ALWAYS bitching about my family, my friends, my work (hours and requirement), and how I chose to go about my day to day routine (for example, not calling her to tell her what I'm up to).

It just wears on you until you find that you all of a sudden have a temper and it doesn't take too much to set it off.

The answers are as varied as the number of people in the world. There is seldom just one reason.

I've heard it said that female nagging is the #1 reason why husbands distance themselves or ultimately leave.

Sorry guys....20 ye*rs in and still happy! But I will admit I found a real good lady. No hang-ups or trust issues. No pie in the sky demands. Still takes care of herself. Has I bit of her own life as well.
I do feel bad for all you guys who went through bad divorces. But good ones are out there. I had my choice really.

Listen to Kevin O'Leary: it's always about money: too much, not enough, wanting it or not wanting it.
