Does anyone believe that?

Well I have never liked Matterazzi, while he played for Inter. But being an AC Milan and Roma fan, that's par for the course.

For Matterrazzi to say he hasn't heard of the word isn't just ignorance, its utter stupidity. You cannot be a hman being on this planet and not know what the word terrorist means these day.

However, his stupidity doesn't automaticall mean he said it. I need more evidence.

If he did say that, it may be grounds for suspension in future international play.

What I find more disturbing is after the head butt Materazzi sat up and as he stood up began clapping?

WTF? It was almost as if he completely faked how hard he was hit.

Why is that disturbing it was still a cheap shot with no attemt to hide it. I also saw a few other elbows in the face by other players to I talians .
That seems to be part of soccer , you exaggerate your injury they all do it.

i was watching TSN and i clearly saw Materazzi give Zidane a little nipple twister from behind...now that was funny...lol...its what more than likely set Zidane off to really use his head in retaliation..lol

I believe the lip reading determined the exact comment was "....something garbled...your sister's hand (garbled) my butt" and Zidane, who's Italian is just so so, thought he said "you sister gives a better head butt". Zindane was only proving him wrong.

Forget about the enitire game up until the penalty kicks.
Italy scored all of their kicks...the French didn't. Therefore the better team won? That day Italy was better at penalty kicks..get over it. And no I'm not an Italian fan, just calling it like it is.

If (forgot his name) hadn't hid the crossbar, who knows what would have happened.
Fact remains, if Italy is so great, why couldn't they score a goal with 15+mins, 1 man up?
The hairy beasts, just aren't that great, they lucked out.
They won't be winning any Euro Cups or World Cups for the next 25 years, EASILY. Mark my words.
