This topic could go on and on, with so many different issues. Now you have colleges and universities saying without international students they have to close up campuses. This is ridiculous. We have plenty of students that want to attend Canadian universities or colleges. I have a friend who’s daughter is graduating grade 12 and is looking at Universities. She just got back from a tour at Guelph University. During the tour the guide mentioned to her and her friends that they might have a chance but highly unlikely as there are still international students on the waiting list. These girls are honour roll with marks in the 90’s and basically won’t get into a university because of their race and nationality.
They are basically looking to go to the USA because it’s so bad here.
I was on the road today and hit 3 Tim Hortons throughout the day. Not one person who served me spoke proper English or was white/black or Asian. They were all south East Asian.
not difficult to make a double-double. The first coffee had about a pound of sugar in it.
As a son of immigrants who’s parents arrived at Union station with $100 in their pocket . Uneducated, didn’t speak English but got jobs and worked.
they were not given free accommodation in hotels, or $$ for food. They had work and take care of kids. I am grateful the work ethic that has been past down to me.
We will never see that in this new wave of entitled immigrants.

Honestly, I would advise every young person to go out to the US. America is a country where if you are smart and work hard an opportunity will come.

The Government in Canada is out of it's mind and these public union workers are parasites.

It's just like California. They vote for progressive left policies, then have to pay higher taxes, but nothing gets done.

After they realize they their progressive policies destroyed their State, they all moved to Texas (but for Canada, this will be Calgary).

Um, working for less money is exactly what every poor immigrant group has done and the resentment of immigrants has always been a part of Toronto culture.

But the truth is, almost everyone is feeling this way. Including older waves of South Asian (legal) immigrants....There were a decent amount of South Asian techbros here before but they were totally normal and I have zero issue with them.

Fun fact, I’m actually about 7% Indian but I didn’t want to say so to all the people calling me a racist, because it’s neither here nor there. It’s third on my admixture Viet > Chinese > Indian . I just don’t care to mention either Chinese or Indian because I don’t see them as being significant genetically or culturally. I see myself as South Vietnamese diaspora in Canada. I have some minor North African and Hungarian too!
