Good observation. There is no demand anymore, but housing prices haven't declined accordingly?
This is true.
We'd have hoped for prices to fall with the fall in demand, but alas.
Good observation. There is no demand anymore, but housing prices haven't declined accordingly?
Guys living in shelters with no status here are hired by construction companies on a daily basis. I witnessed this first hand when the same bunch of Mexicans were picked up every day at the Scott Mission. It's becoming a huge issue in the construction field. People who say they are qualified and are not working for less then what I quote. I get people are trying to save money on Reno's but the amount of call backs I'm getting to fix someone else mess is insane.
I know several people who work in the TV and radio industry within the private sector and they have always told me that the CBC over hires for everything. ie for a radio show in the private sector they will have 2-3 people working on it, whereas CBC will have 10. Lot's of fat to trim. You mean, a little "hey Pierre, look over here. We're not really a Liberal mouthpiece after all ." lol
But yes, I think even they can see the writing on the wall. To be honest, the CBC does have some value. Although, they could likely trim a lot of fat and still produce some good content. Time will tell.
The CBC is over staffed and over-valued for what they produce. Is that how you believe it works in your worlds?
Of course, you know several people who work in the tv and radio industry in the private sector who always tell you things about the CBC.I know several people who work in the TV and radio industry within the private sector and they have always told me that the CBC over hires for everything. ie for a radio show in the private sector they will have 2-3 people working on it, whereas CBC will have 10. Don't believe me?Of course, you know several people who work in the tv and radio industry in the private sector who always tell you things about the CBC.
Who I ask, would have suspected otherwise?
The Republicans didn't mandate the vaccines and impose useless lockdowns. Our conservatives caved to all of the bullshit. Not sure what you mean by this. The Republican Party doesn't have balls, they lack common decency, class and scruples.
How should I start the conversation with said private media?Don't believe me?
Why don't you call one of the private radio stations or send the program director an email asking for an estimate of how many people work on one of their shows. Tell them you're a student doing research.
Then do the same thing for the CBC.
Then come back here and confess what you have discovered.
I already told you how to do it. You just don't want to because you'll discover that I'm not lying about it.How should I start the conversation with said private media?
"Hello, this guy from TERB named Skoob said I should call you to ....... "
Yes, just another typical response from Anbarandy. It's common knowledge the CBC is overstaffed when it comes to the number of employees it takes to produce shows compared to the private sector. Now they are cutting some staff, but handing out huge bonuses at the same time. Which is truly amazing.I already told you how to do it. You just don't want to because you'll discover that I'm not lying about it.
So you'll just continue to distract like usual.
Oh Canada.....Now we've got roaming mobs with SWORDS on the streets of Brampton. Thanks, Trudeau ...
Then you are stuck with Trudeau unfortunately.I wouldn't vote Conservative if my life depended on it. Far too many in that party should just tattoo the US flag on their foreheads and be done with it.
As long as they pay the carbon tax on the manufacturing and delivery of those swords. Now we've got roaming mobs with SWORDS on the streets of Brampton. Thanks, Trudeau ...
I can't believe you said math and Trudeau in the same post!2.8M more people.
Total deaths in Canada in 2022 was 334K.
If you assume similar deaths then this is population increase.
Trudeau lying as usual.
The math doesn't add up.
The trades have always been sketchy like this.Guys living in shelters with no status here are hired by construction companies on a daily basis. I witnessed this first hand when the same bunch of Mexicans were picked up every day at the Scott Mission.
It's like that in all government sectors. The inefficiency and overspending is appalling.I know several people who work in the TV and radio industry within the private sector and they have always told me that the CBC over hires for everything. ie for a radio show in the private sector they will have 2-3 people working on it, whereas CBC will have 10. Lot's of fat to trim.
And don't forget that the government loves to hire more people than it needs to make it appear as though unemployment is lower than it is.It's like that in all government sectors. The inefficiency and overspending is appalling.
The only private sector that resembles this was big tech in Cali when times were good and investor money was endless.
It's why Elon was able to cut over 70% of Twitter's workforce overnight without it having any negative impact on site performance.
But the private sector has to self-correct to survive unlike the public sector. Paying staff members $120k/year to answer a couple emails a day along with free yoga classes and free meals was never going to last.
If you want to bang your head against the wall, read just how out of control the Liberals are with hiring civil servants over the last several years. It's truly mindboggling. And don't forget that the government loves to hire more people than it needs to make it appear as though unemployment is lower than it is.
The public sector has no comprehension of how the rest of the non-public sector world works. They are in a bubble where they believe money grows on trees and they are entitled to more and more of it.
