You know it's bad when the CBC is saying immigration is too high.

Thank you for posting. Pretty much what I said in my previous post. The Trudeau Government has seriously fucked up this country.

Interestingly enough, if you had told me that report was from The Globe, National Post or the Toronto Sun, I would've believed you. The fact that it was from the CBC, is quite astonishing.

I think the CBC has realized the writing's on the wall and are going to start trashing Trudeau so that Poilievre doesn't defund them when he becomes PM.

They are saying population growth is going to be 0.
How?
Its 2.8M immigrants total for the next 3 years per the targets set.
If you add 2.8M people to Canada, on top of the births, that means population growth will be +ve?

You mean, a little "hey Pierre, look over here. We're not really a Liberal mouthpiece after all ." lol

But yes, I think even they can see the writing on the wall. To be honest, the CBC does have some value. Although, they could likely trim a lot of fat and still produce some good content. Time will tell.

Which is exactly why (among other reasons) there's a housing shortage, rents have gone up, housing prices have skyrocketed, hospitals and homeless shelters are full, foodbanks are running out of food and good paying jobs are hard to come by.

There's a very simple formula when it comes to rents and housing prices. It's called supply and demand. It's the same in any city, town or country around the world. Like Ginomore said, the Liberals allowed immigration to soar, leading to many of the problems we're now facing. What do you think happens to rental and housing prices when you have a dozen vs. a thousands vying for a single unit. Look a Brampton, many places have 10-15 people living in a single family dwelling. It's insane.

With the escalating cost of food and the carbon tax, (no, the cheques we get from the Feds doesn't begin to cover the total cost increase to consumers) you have the number one reason the Liberals are tanking in the polls and will lose the next Federal election. People of all ages, race and sex are tired of Trudeau's "sunny ways." He's hurting everyone. I was born here, my parents were born here and now he's literally messed up our entire country. The end of him can't come soon enough. He's done, mark my words.

My apologies for getting off topic, but my comments do relate to Toronto.

Edit: I honestly can't see why anyone could vote for Trudeau again. That said, there's not a hope in hell I would vote for Trump either. Both toxic IMHO. Go figure...
Vacancy rates and rent hikes were the same in towns that had low immigration.
That wasn't the reason.

You dont charge victims.
You charge the attackers.
And if they are naturalized citizens who are engaging in terrorism, then they should be deported.
Once again there were violent ones on both sides that should be charged. Apparently, the demonstration against the Indian Consular members was peaceful until the protesters were attacked with stones etc thrown in their direction. That is when the protesters fought back. of course there were two sides to the story, and the police have arrested two individuals including suspending an off duty policeman who was part of the protesters. You are the only one calling it "terrorism"!!

You really do not understand what journalism is, now do you?
At last, Al Bundy stops by to drop a few insults, because he has nothing constructive to add to the conversation.

Then goes back to his mother's basement to jerk off in her granny panties. Well played!

More to the point, do you agree or disagree that the Liberals have messed things up? You're reply should be interesting, as I'm sure you don't see it that way. lol

Really?

Informing you that, "you really do not understand how journalism works is not astonishing", is somehow labeled as insult by you?

On the contrary, I'd say that it is also quite informing and instructive to you personally just as is fact and evidence based journalism and analysis as practiced by the CBC is to the public.

What did the CBC's produced, fact and evidence-based journalistic and analytical segment demonstrate?

It is as objectively obvious to me, as it is subjectively obvious to you.

Are you serious? You honestly believe CBC TV and radio coverage doesn't favour the Liberal party? Just like The Globe and National Post favours the right?
R u serious?

Bro, what happened to you considering that you were probably were educated in Canada as I was?

When did objectivity exit your life and bias and subjectivity take control of what once a sensible and reasoning mind?

As I stated, you have no clue what fact and evidenced-based journalism and analysis is at all.
