If man is the sole cause of global warming, how do you explain the cycles of global warming/ice ages that occured long before we were on the picture?

.
The sun is burning so hot and so close to the earth that the temperature is rising for the planet .Makes me think of a big melting pot . .During the ice ages there wasn't a gravitational pull that we have now .The south and the north are not coming together like they used to .Also during the iceages there wasn't the industrial revolution, there wasn't plastic and there wasn't greenhouse gas .copper is one element that doesn't belong in soil .

Dessert and floods can be reduced if we stop promoting and start rebuilding .

Man only has one destiny, and it isn't pretty. Mother Nature is a cruel bitch, she always has been.

The world cannot be saved. When you take the daily amount of births and the daily amount of deaths in the world, you get a surplus of BIRTHS in the amount of about 200,000. That's right, the equivalent of a city the size of Waterloo, ON gets dropped on to the planet every day...those people need the use of the planet's resources to live...and eventually there will be very little left....so are efforts are almost futile
It's not entirely futile. China got it right with the one child policy. It takes time to make a difference but they have now got their population growth under control.

The planet doesn't need saving...

Humans are the parasite and is merely part of the cycle....

Man can't even save itself... it can merely prolong the inevitable...

In the not so distant passed (on a planetary scale and depending on who/ what theory you believe), The planet survived the last dominant race on its surface. What makes you believe it won't survive this one?

You agree with the killing of children if a family has more than one?

Hopefully you were child number two in your family

If you think that this is fear of death ,then your very wrong .
It is an issue about producing materials that do not belong in our atmosphere .
Instead of saying its to late ,why aren't we spending more money on safer environmentally friendly product ,cleaning up wastelands and most of all cleaning up our mistakes .
Why should wildlife become extinct from mans mistakes ? For example the monarch butterfly flies to mexico every year and will not navigate to another location ,so the forest is a necessity if you want the monarch butterfly in your world . It all comes down to elements and its ok if we fucked up in the past ,why not be responsible now .Most of us are guilty making this happen and want no responsibility nor give a shit .How did this happen ?Who gave you the right to speed up the process of existence ?

the gravitational pull from the earths south and north pole is unbalanced so earthquakes are enivitable and larger to come .Floods, volcanoes eruptions, dried out crops ,disease, huge hurricanes, and drought. Elements have caused this effect. Many new islands. I have a very dry sense of humour and I don't want the world to dry up.The sun is so hot that it will not be able to breakdown through the soil from the elements that are soil will turn to sand
In my view, it is a matter of fear of death. The death of yourself and the death of our species.

As for producing materials that don't belong in our atmosphere, my friend, the atmosphere too has changed. Once upon a time, it was an atmosphere that we could not breathe. Over time, it became one that we could breath. Google "banded iron formations" and "ancient atmospheric composition" and educate yourself. Just because we're changing the atmosphere means precisely squat in the big picture.

Wildlife has become extinct for any number of reasons under the sun. There is nothing special or significant about life forms going extinct due to human activity except that humans think it so. Furthermore, notwithstanding human action, all life forms will eventually go extinct anyways and new one will arise. That's the way it is on this planet, like it or not.

No one gave me or anyone else any right. We are alive, we seek our comforts and joys (much like every other life form on Earth) and there are repercussions to how we go about doing things (just like everything else on Earth). That's just the way it is. The system (biosphere or ecosphere if you will) will eventually push back against whatever disruption we force on it (global warming as theorized is a fine example) and we'll either survive or we won't. A whole lot of other things will go kaput as well, but that's life.

As for the planet drying up, if you watched the second video, you would have learned that it is INEVITABLE that our planet dries up. The sun is getting hotter (sure it's a billion years off, but it is nonetheless inevitable) and our planet will get warmer. Scorching hot in fact, 160 degrees farenheit. That's it then, nothing we know of now will be able to live on the surface of the Earth. Thankfully, we'll have long since gone extinct by then so no worries.

That's life Spanglerdoo. I know it isn't pleasant or readily acceptable, but it is what it is. Enjoy yours, it doesn't last very long in the grand scheme of things.

Cheers!

:D

Are you willing to abandon the cities and walk or use a horse for transport. Even bicycles need to be manufactured and that creates pollution.

When you use kinetic energy to ride a bicycle it doesn't burn the ozone layer . Yes I walk

Kinetic Energy is defined as related to motion.

I guess you use that to do most anything. However I am willing to bet you are not ready to chuck it all and go live on a self-sufficient farm, never seeing the city again.

Unless you are doing just that you are just talking a good game.

Why would I possibly want to go live on a farm when the farmers are in a crisis ?

I rather stick to loblaws organic food section ,keep my organs ,buy a hybrid use my recycable bags, buy only material thats enviromentaly friendly , and never put a bumper sticker on my vehichle that says "honk if your horny "

Shes only a bitch when men use the wrong head
No, she's always been a cruel bitch. Since the beginning of humanity she beat humankind down with the brutal heat of the sun. For milleniums, man had no air conditioning for refuge. When man made his way north, the bitch beat tormented him with the icy winter chills. Whever man went, the bitch plagued him with diseases, ailments, and parasites. She made it necessary for animals to have to kill other animals and force them to endure excrutiating pain for their own survival. She is at odds with all that we do and we have tried out best and have made some progress in creating some comfort for ourselves in Her world.

When she is ready, she will snuff us out as she has done to countless species countless times before. Fuck Mother Nature.
