If you think that this is fear of death ,then your very wrong .
It is an issue about producing materials that do not belong in our atmosphere .
Instead of saying its to late ,why aren't we spending more money on safer environmentally friendly product ,cleaning up wastelands and most of all cleaning up our mistakes .
Why should wildlife become extinct from mans mistakes ? For example the monarch butterfly flies to mexico every year and will not navigate to another location ,so the forest is a necessity if you want the monarch butterfly in your world . It all comes down to elements and its ok if we fucked up in the past ,why not be responsible now .Most of us are guilty making this happen and want no responsibility nor give a shit .How did this happen ?Who gave you the right to speed up the process of existence ?
the gravitational pull from the earths south and north pole is unbalanced so earthquakes are enivitable and larger to come .Floods, volcanoes eruptions, dried out crops ,disease, huge hurricanes, and drought. Elements have caused this effect. Many new islands. I have a very dry sense of humour and I don't want the world to dry up.The sun is so hot that it will not be able to breakdown through the soil from the elements that are soil will turn to sand
In my view, it is a matter of fear of death. The death of yourself and the death of our species.
As for producing materials that don't belong in our atmosphere, my friend, the atmosphere too has changed. Once upon a time, it was an atmosphere that we could not breathe. Over time, it became one that we could breath. Google "banded iron formations" and "ancient atmospheric composition" and educate yourself. Just because we're changing the atmosphere means precisely squat in the big picture.
Wildlife has become extinct for any number of reasons under the sun. There is nothing special or significant about life forms going extinct due to human activity except that humans think it so. Furthermore, notwithstanding human action, all life forms will eventually go extinct anyways and new one will arise. That's the way it is on this planet, like it or not.
No one gave me or anyone else any right. We are alive, we seek our comforts and joys (much like every other life form on Earth) and there are repercussions to how we go about doing things (just like everything else on Earth). That's just the way it is. The system (biosphere or ecosphere if you will) will eventually push back against whatever disruption we force on it (global warming as theorized is a fine example) and we'll either survive or we won't. A whole lot of other things will go kaput as well, but that's life.
As for the planet drying up, if you watched the second video, you would have learned that it is INEVITABLE that our planet dries up. The sun is getting hotter (sure it's a billion years off, but it is nonetheless inevitable) and our planet will get warmer. Scorching hot in fact, 160 degrees farenheit. That's it then, nothing we know of now will be able to live on the surface of the Earth. Thankfully, we'll have long since gone extinct by then so no worries.
That's life Spanglerdoo. I know it isn't pleasant or readily acceptable, but it is what it is. Enjoy yours, it doesn't last very long in the grand scheme of things.
Cheers!
