Yes it is, they agreed to a 30 day ceasefire with Russian reciprocity being the only condition.
A complete ceasefire.
This was rejected.

Russia came back with a specific partial ceasefire proposal. (And some possible additional conditions.)
Zelensky then agreed to that "in principle" but wanted to see a final document.

None of this is "Ukraine agreed to do whatever the USA agreed to with Russia".

No mention of the word "total"
Fair enough.
The word used was complete.

Wrong again. Geez you just imagine shit up and make your own reality. lol

Ukraine expressed readiness to accept the U.S. proposal to enact an immediate, interim 30-day ceasefire, which can be extended by mutual agreement of the parties, and which is subject to acceptance and concurrent implementation by the Russian Federation.

Yes.
Exactly what I am saying and you are denying.
That was the complete ceasefire that Russia rejected.

I am not sure why you are having such a difficult time with this.

where did it say complete? It said interim. Anyway there willl probably be no ceasefire Its not in Russias interest to have a ceasefire

Oh good lord. Is your argument about the word now?
Complete means all shooting, land/sea/and air.
It's not a legal term in a document.

Our discussion was about you assertion that Ukraine agreed to whatever US and Russia agreed to later and how wrong that was.
Have you finally accepted that you were wrong about that since you are arguing about if the word "complete" was in the statement?

Anyway there willl probably be no ceasefire Its not in Russias interest to have a ceasefire
Yes.
This is what many of us said and why we aren't surprised Russia didn't agree to a ceasefire.

Zelensky can agree to whatever the U.S. said and still disrupt
Trump's peace initiative from time to time on the battlefield.

Man Witkoff is either an idiot or is being ordered to give Russia what they want. He essentially said that he agrees with Russia taking the 5 regions.

A sarcastic take on it.

No, but but they have scores of anti aircraft systems. ...
Seems that their AA systems in Crimea took a beating yesterday.

And again, you said Russia has the right to determine Ukraine's actions, suggesting that Ukraine was a threat to Russia before 2022 but all you keep doing is showing you know that even now, Ukraine really can't do much other than some long range strikes.

TOTAL SHOCK AS DISTURBING PUTIN MEETING GOES PUBLIC!
Before I can decide whether to watch this video can someone tell me first
if the host youtuber is one of those who wishes Trump to fail miserably to
end the Ukraine war through ongoing peace talk with Putin?

It IS in Russia's interest to cease fire and leave the temporarily occupied territories and start trying to rebuild their country.

It is NOT is Vladimir Vladimirich's interest to have a ceasefire... on the battlefield. Because his personal life now depends on the war continuing. Putin, like Trump, is a complete narcissist and is and always has only been interested in furthering his own personal desires. Let's be honest and frank here notty. He is 72 now and at that age you start thinking more about YOUR legacy. YOUR place in history. Putin wanted to go down in history as the man who resuscitated the USSR. That's why he invaded Ukraine. He has zero interests in protecting Russian speaking people in RUSSIA, never mind Ukraine or anywhere else. He KNOWS that the LAST thing NATO members want is to take over responsibility for the massive kleptocratic welfare state the Russian Federation is. Minerals, oil, resources? Meh... ANY company in the world can approach Russia (with a suitcase of gold bullion) and establish a mining, oil and gas, lumber... whatever , project in Russia without taking it over militarily. Before his lunatic war, Russia was awash in foreign companies working with Russians in joint ventures in all these sectors. The Russian are simply too primitive and behind in technology (except what they stole or bought through western partners) to do much on their own. They still can't build a car that is not even assembled as well as a soviet era tractor. His many and constantly varying post-facto reasons excuses lies for invading Ukraine are often contradictory and always bullshit.

You are right, Russia can't stop the fight by their own choosing. Aside from Putin himself, you know that those upper strata of the Russian system are dependent on that system for their very livlihoods, if not lives.

Russia has to be defeated for its own good to try for a fresh start. I have many Russian friends here and abroad. I have spent time in Russia. Even taken the Trans Siberia Railway with many stops along with way. The Russian people are kind, generous and hospitable decent people... just trying to get by in a horribly corrupt and inhumane political system.

It sounds contradictory but I personally want Russia to be defeated, to fail... for the sake of the people of the Russian Federation.

Don't waste your valuable time watching it. You won't learn anything you haven't already made other deliberate choices to be actively ignorant of.

Your valuable time is better wasted trying to justify an unjustifiable act of overt invasion of a soveriegn nation and the brutal murders, tortures, rapes and attempts to subjugate people who simply want to try to move forward and life a life of freedom.

I can only surmise that it is difficult for the pro-Ukraine crowd to
openly admit what they wish to transpire---Trump failing to end
the war on the battlefield so Ukraine can fight on to the last man.
As a voter I now think my valuable time is better spent on finding the
right leader to vote; someone unlike Trudeau who has the good sense
to understand aid money for Ukraine is better spent on our own
national defence.

How was choosing to fight a war with Russia ever going to lead to anything resembling that outcome?
