Ronda Rousey vs. Miesha Tate for UFC women’s bantamweight championship.............Why do I agree with one writer who feels like Ronda might just try to prove a point and stand with Tate? I feel Meisha will finally take her past the first round but will succumb in the third or fourth round.

Josh Barnett vs. Travis Browne ............Don't think that Browne is in Josh's league and will fall victim to the Warmaster's excellent catch wrestling.

Diego Brandao vs. Dustin Poirier ..........Well Brandao missed weight big time and a difficult usually doesn't translate into a good showing. Poirier takes him out in the second by refs stoppage.

The biggest enemy of Silva is Father Time . In his prime he was the best pound for pound and could taunt his opponent with his hands down and used his quick reflects to avoid punches. Fighting however is a young men's game and no matter how skillful you are, aging can make you punch and kick like in slow motion and slow to react to attacks. Tonight we'll see if his experience can pull it through for him, or he is finally over the hill.

What a horrific and tragic end to a surreal career. Silva is no longer the same fighter. After being knocked out cold in the first fight, his chin isn't the same (the same way Chuck Liddell's chin disappeared after being KO'd). Permanent damage to the brain and now his leg is gone. He's over.

Silva ignored all rules of martial art etiquette in showboating the way he did and paid the price with his career and head. He isn't the first and won't be the last fighter/man to take his talents for granted, and have destiny punish him for it.

Congrats to Chris.

Kinda funny how it seems as though Leben's fighting days are done as well, being that Anderson broke into the UFC by beating Leben impressively.

Silva didn't showboat this time, you gotta give him credit for that.

Feel sad that we've seen the end of the greatest MMA fighter of all time, and to have it end that way. Not quite ready to declare Weidman the real deal yet, let's see how he does against the winner of Machida/Belfort.

Tate fought her heart out but there's no real match for Rousey from anyone in the women's division. Rousey proved that she can go further than one round, I don't see anyone beating her, although Cyborg could pose a real challenge if she manages to cut down to 135, although off the roids she looks much less dominant.

Boy was I wrong about Browne, that guy is a beast. His next fight should be a title shot.

New champions this year and more to come next year. Hendricks is my pick for Welterweight.

Barao is the real champion, he's fought way more than Cruz and pretty much cleaned out the division. The Interim tag should've been removed long ago, Cruz hasn't fought for 2 years, we finally get to see the Interim tag removed in February. I'm picking Barao.

There probably will never be another fighter as dominant as Anderson Silva. That being said, later on in his career, he disrespected his opponents with his antics, and paid for it in the first Weidman fight. It's a shame that the hardest kick Silva ever threw in his career was into the ready knee of Chris Weidman.

Weidman vs. Silva - Chris looked great in first, glad he won. But sad way to see Silva go out. That leg looked like spaghetti around a fork.

Rousey vs. Tate - Figured Rousey would win, guess I'm glad it didn't end in the first. Total classless tart in victory though. She is one I will enjoy seeing lose. If Dana wanted a real fight, he would sign Cyborg now. God help Rousey when she runs into a true striker... and Cris Cyborg is just that.

Barnett vs. Browne - wow, never saw that coming.

It's the end of an era in the UFC with Silva and GSP gone. I'm going to miss watching Silva's former outer-worldly reflexes and skill. Does Jones' rematch have his number on it?

You do realize that Zingano was getting beaten by Tate for the first 2 rounds right?

Cris Justino could probably give her a good go but since she being managed by Tito well there's no way that the UFC is going to do that now is there. Dana already said she committed career suicide by signing with him.

Personally I like Ronda. At least she is not pretentious. She wouldn't shake Meisha's hand because she doesn't respect what she had to say about her coaches which she regards as her family. If this is the mindset that she has to be in to put on great performances then so be it. Love her or hate her she will be a huge attraction for the company going forward. And that is good for the sport.

I'm now sold on Travis Browne. The Werdum fight will another great test for him.

Weidman/Belfort is next up in the 185lb division. Will Vitor be able to stuff his takedowns? If he can and the fight is in a TRT exempt venue then we might see a new champion in the very near future.

The Spider is done. Can't see him coming back from that injury and let's face it he wasn't looking that good up until he got hurt anyways. Weidman is just his kryptonite.

Leben is another one who has no business being in the cage anymore. He's probably one more KO away from a permanent brain injury. If he isn't there already. Hopefully someone will get in his ear and he will listen.

I wonder if Weidman would be willing to go up in weight to fight Gustavson or Jones, that would be great. I hope Weidman does not become a Tebow with his whole throwing Christianity out there while draping himself with the Amerucan flag, imagine the Christian Right having a saint in MMA.
What a horrible ending to Anderson Silva's career, I hope Dana White doesnt let him back in the octagon.
