You think the gun safety course trains people to deal with someone who already has the drop on you. Any average joe who thinks they can dodge a bullet has watched too many movies.

p.s. Carrying a gun in your car goes beyond what you post here.
No it doesn't train you to do that but you have a better chance of defending yourself with a gun than being empty handed. Criminals aren't smart. I took a self defense course in Florida. You'd be surprised how easily criminals get distracted giving you the chance to get the drop on them

What happens the night you watch Fox and get all chicken shit because of the crime they keep harping on or watch some scary movie then hear the front door squeak open. You rush out of the family room like Dirty Hairy yelling "MAKE MY DAY" and bang bang bang only to find a dead family member or pizza delivery guy ?
I don't watch FOX or CNN. I know what to look for and I think i would know if I was having a Pizza delivered or if a family member where coming to my house. You get the prize for dumbest post of the week

During the carjacking yes but not if you're home was invaded. Security systems aren't foolproof. The police get so many false alarms they take their time answering those calls
Well with alarms sounding the whole neighbourhoods, the chances of getting these invasions are going to be far more rare. These thugs are smart enough to avoid the houses that are fully alarmed with cameras and lights automatically turning on. This is the reality. It is false to say that the cops treat the alarms that are sounded as not an emergency. Neighbours are very likely to call 911 if they observe an obvious home invasion!!

No. A vast majority of the gun owners will get someone else or them killed or injured by gun handling accident way before they have a home intruder into their house. Statistics proves it.

Ah I see, so you're saying accidently shooting a loved one or deliver dude has never happened to a legal gun owner in North America??

That's how people get killed. The safest thing when confronted with an armed person trying to steal your car is let them. That's what insurance is for. The people who generally get killed in car jackings are the people who think their ninja skills will enable them to "get the drop on them".

If their goal is to kill you, that is a different matter but it is extremely uncommon for Canadians not involved in crime to have a killer pull a gun on them.

p.s. Thanks for acknowledging your inconsistencies, claiming guns should be allowed to defend your home then talking about carrying in your car.

I'm not saying they don't come they are just not in a hurry because most of them are false. I.E an animal trips the alarm, someone forgets the password. Examples like that.

Not if you are trained properly

How many times has a pizza delivery guy been shot? As far as loved ones go I'm not sure of the number but the number of unintentional deaths by gun in the U.S per year is 495. Mostly by careless, untrained people

Yes I changed that. They shouldn't be carried in a care not because you shouldn't be able to defend yourself but chances are there will be other people around who could get shot.

so what are you going to do if you look in your window and see some bum going into your car to steal a pair of sunglasses? Do you have any idea what you are entitled to do legally in Ontario?

ROTFLMFAO! The real crime was Hillary hiring a foreign spy to manufacture bs in order to influence the outcome of the vote. That's what the Sussman trial established beyond a shadow of any (remaining) doubt.
Never heard that one. If your talking about Steele he was hired by the GOP. But don't let pesky facts get in the way of your propaganda rant
