How can you claim victory when the article shows 2 contradicting statements, one he was a Republican and two he donated to Democratic causes??

I believe both statements are true. I also believe that regardless of the shooter's ideology, he had mental issues. Based on comments from people who knew him, his political slant wasn't obvious, so I'm only guessing, but I would say he was in the middle and could like or hate either side. This is my assessment only, and yes, I could be proven wrong at a later date.
