Or righties just giving in to the aggressor. Sad.
Or righties have the common sense to not get dragged into this conflict...it's time for NATO to stop pursuing Ukraine and time for Ukraine to abandon that dream. US spent almost 70% of the entire NATO aid to ukraine...had the rest of the EU just matched the US funding to Ukraine...Russia wouldn't have been so bold to keep going...but no...everybody expects the US to bail everyone out....why does Zelensky act like he's entitiled to all that funding? Because of Joe's promises...

Would you give in to Russia if they incurred into our territory? Or China? Or the US? Because your responses feel like the answer would be a yes.
The scenario in such invasions is not quite like what is going
on in the Ukraine War.

Invasion of Canada by Russia will be considered an
attack by other NATO members as an attack on their
ally and military response will be triggered. Invasion
of Canada by the U.S. will be a different situation.
It seems likely Canada would have to fight American invaders
on its own like Iraq.

With Ukraine it is more like NATO's proxy war that initially show the promise of taking
out a potential threat to the west at no cost of human lives and low cost of military and economic aid to the invaded country used as the tool to fight the war. As it turns
out the war is not going well so it seems prudent to opt out of the war though the
U.S. still wants to reap profits from the war by grabbing Ukraine's mineral resources.

Was it Joe who signed the Budapest memorandum in 1994 ? Russia got the nukes and then fucked over the Ukraine. Now sleazeball rapist convicted felon Trump lies and blames Ukraine for starting the war and is taking away their sovereignty. This is way worse than when he fucked over Afghanistan. It hasn't even been a month and the world is greatly destabilized due to trumps dictator policies. He said he will be a dictator from day one and so far that's one of the few promises he's made good on

It wasn't Trump either...Trump wants this war to stop...enough lives were lost...Even if Russia removes it's troops from Ukraine Tomorrow...you'd still be whining.
Hah!

Trump has but one, single, solitary option made available to him by his creator and that is to Make Russia the Great USSR Again.

So you see nothing wrong with Trump declaring a sovereign nation as unfit to even be at the negation table for a peace deal ? The same sovereign nation that the US promised to defend against invasion in exchange for its giving up its nukes ? The same sovereign nation that Trump tried to blackmail into opening a sham investigation against his political foe ?

Trump could blame one of Putin, Biden and Zelensky.

To blame Putin won't help end the war.

It is not unfair to blame Biden for not providing
sufficient aid to Ukraine in a timely fashion and for the restrictions he imposed
on the use of American missiles. But Trump knows enough about good
politics to not blame his predecessor to protect his country's prestige.

For Trump. finding someone else but himself to blame is always the
right move. Hence Zelensky has to be the one to take the blame. Besides
how do you expect Trump to make Ukraine pay back all the U.S. aid received
if he openly admit Putin is the one to blame.

It is blatantly unfair to say Trump is the one taking away Ukraine's sovereignty.
It is all Putin's handiwork. Trump is no more responsible for Ukraine's loss of
sovereignty than NATO-Europe.

would you like Trump to keep funding Ukraine? US is in a bad position to to escalate this conflict...it's costs them already billions of dollars while still struggling with inflation at home...what you leftists are really trying to do is gaslight US into this war, then claim Trump didn't deliver his promise to improve the US economy...

NATO promised not to move east, they lied. In 2008 Putin warned that moving east would cause a conflict. Many time the Russians said they will not tolerate Ukraine joining NATO. They could have avoided this war by resuming their neutral path and disavowing NATO. The US has probably even a greater role in the Ukraine war then Zelensky. Even 1m into the war there was a chance to stop it at Istanbul yet the west demanded the war continue. In between 2014 and the full war there was constant attempts by Ukraine to interfere with Russian business in Europe and obstruct the Minsk agreements. The non-stop attacks of the Russian identifying population in Donbas and the massing of troops to attack the rebels was the final straw. There was a long march to war here, and all you guys were asleep, listening the western press, and still are. Ukraine cannot win this war, they have been bled white. Russia is at its absolute strongest state since the collapse of the USSR in both economic and military terms. I challenge you to outline a policy where Trump could end up with a win from this situation in the 4 years of his presidency.

You bring up an interesting point. Europe will certainly reject any idiotic deals Trump agrees to with putin. This is all just another Trump show where he lies and claims he tried to end the war when he did nothing more than make things worse like he always does. What makes Trump think that he and putin can dictate the world order ? Trump pulled this lunacy in Afghanistan but the US was running the show there at this time. Now Europe has a decision - step up their funding and keep it going where MAGA will point their smelly fingers and say that NATO is to blame, or let it cave in. I say the former rather than the latter

Europe will change their tune the minute Trump and Putin agree to end this war. They're absolutely powerless. They don't even deserve a seat at the negotiations. Their fragile economic union is on the brink of collapse.

Continue funding Ukraine without the guys who control the money printer? You must be mad.

https://www.theguardian.com/world/2...ief-in-nato-betrayal-and-why-it-matters-today

A little more detail here. As you can see the US and the WEST really don't care about any agreement with Russia or anyone else (JCPOA, MCUSA) you name it. Its all worthless. The only reason Trump is changing course is all preconceptions about how this war would turn out have been shattered. All you were told about how this war would progress, calls for the strategic defeat of Russia all ignored by people like you who are happy to ignore the fact that the west sought confrontation because they thought they could bring Russia to its knees. The human cost and massive destruction and risk of nuclear war was not even considered in this folly. So I guess even though you cannot see how this can turn into a win, you would prefer the killing to continue. How does that make sense?

how exactly did the west 'sought confrontation?' by not letting Russia roll over a country they promised to protect ? Pure ridiculousness

By refusing to back down on Urkaines accession to NATO or agree not to base nuclear weapons there. They also poured weapons into Urkraine and established 13 CIA bases on the border with Russia. Russia is protecting the Eastern Ukrainians from the genocidal Kiev nationalist movement that has a genocidal history against Jews, Poles, Russian etc. Still waiting for your "WIN" plan...🤣🤷‍♂️👌 The Biden admin wanted this war. When Biden was certain that Russia was gonna attack, did he lift a finger to try and stop it? 🤔
