I laud you for having that much faith.
i laugh at you for having that much arrogance
you constantly belittle groups of people as being uneducated,

you have likely acquired a masters or phD degree in some sort of literary or humanities discipline
followed up by years of lording over students willing to lick your boots in order to avoid getting a F grade
teaching being the only possible route for income in those perhaps interesting, but practically useless and non productive fields

so after wallowing in your taxpayer funded academic bubble , you have come to the arrogant conclusion that the 'uneducated masses' are so inferior to you that they can not possibly apply common sense

despite your higher education, you missed the obvious
common sense is defined by the common man

there is a chance I could be wrong about your career path , but I am spot on about the arrogance

There is no such thing as a deep state. There is no cabal of nameless, faceless bureaucrats blocking the direct orders of the POTUS.

Show me one single verified case of the “deep state” interfering with the will of POTUS or congress. The troops stayed in Afghanistan because Obama chose to keep them there.

Trump wants to create his own Deep State; that’s why he’s trying to fire everybody he can and replace them with loyalists who won’t rat him out the next time he tries to extort political dirt on an opponent from a foreign leader.
I don't think that's right.
There is a "deep state" in that there are lots of people who do their jobs who aren't there to be at the whim of the latest elected official.
The cops are the deep state - they don't all get replaced every time there is a new mayor.
The army is the deep state.
The post office is the deep state.

What there isn't is "The Deep State" --> the single, unified, blob that controls everything in a unanimous, cohesive whole (and is probably "The Jews") that is the fantasy of the fever swamps.

But government is a series of institutions, and all institutions have their own culture and inertia and power centers.
That's a real thing.

That said, you are completely correct that Trump wants a personalized state, one where government exists to support him and his goals, not those of the country.

FYI: It seems many of the right wing geniuses on terb have been using the term Deep State without understanding what it means. I know…I was SHOCKED too!

Anyhow, in the interest of clarity, here is the Wikipedia definition:

The deep state conspiracy theory in the United States is a false American political conspiracy theory that posits the existence of the deep state, a clandestine network of members of the federal government(especially within the FBI and CIA). The theory argues that there exist networks of collaborators within the leadership of the high-level financial and industrial entities, which exercise power alongside or within the elected United States government.[1]

You have now learned something new today.

Don’t bother to thank me.
no thanks is in order
I have never liked that term ''Deep State''

so we will just go with wide spread corruption , systematic fraud, and abuse of the tax payer to start
We will patiently wait to see if Musk uncovers any felonies

You have now learned something you should have known already

It means what they want it to mean, when they want it to mean it.

It has morphed from this to mean "anyone who disagrees with me about policy and appears to have been around for awhile".

Um, you do know that Trump is a convicted felon who is also guilty of fraud himself?

I approve this message, I'm just not smart enough to articulate it so accurately as Mr Larue has. Lol

Bad guess. I was trained in the physical sciences. I'm a very logical person and the physical sciences are much more predictable and consistent than the ones dealing with humans.

My readings on TERB bear this out. Humans, for a variety of reasons, are extremely erratic, unpredictable and illogical.

As well, as you just proved, humans make very poor assumptions.

Actually, you are correct on both parts, including being wrong about my career path.

I used to question which of my organs was my most powerful. It was a tossup between my dick and my brain. With the passage of time, in the last few years, the brain is now the clear winner.

At this point, I will take pride in being like Yogi Bear. I have nothing to be ashamed of for feeling that way. To be honest, not naming anyone in particular, some of the posters on here make it so much easier for me to declare...

It only makes me wonder, why do I do so many stupid things?

I was correct about your arrogance, the pathway is less important

??? nobody would describe Yogi Bear as being arrogant

if you believe arrogance is a virtue, you are not very bright.
For many, arrogance is likely the most repulsive of Donald Trump's character flaws.

they are pulling all the stops to cancel an auditor
they must be really frightened by what he might find
President Trump is following the "Untouchables" Principle. 1. Recruit young eager fresh uncorrupted talent to go after the old guard. 2. Cut off the Swamps money through USAID and NGOs. 3 Next get the DS operatives via the Blackmail P Diddy and Epstein had on them.

The DS will be crippled and the court system will take ages to fight back. By the time the major players get their day in court they will be not believed because of the heinous crimes they committed .

it will be very interesting to see if Musk is able to uncover the rivers of tax payer money flowing to the 'Climate change" propaganda machine
Al Gore spent his time as VP quietly building government bureaucracy focused on promoting that nonsense and he became very wealthy doing so

Well, at least you are clear-eyed about that.

If you were a D&D nerd trying to justify the six-attribute spread it uses for legacy reasons, you would say that it shows you have high Intelligence and low Wisdom.
