What's happened to Anaheim lately? Got clobbered by Calgary and have lost four straight.
Very difficult for any team in any sport (too few games for NFL teams) to not go through at least a bit of rough spell over the course of a season. Just the nature of things.

Peak at the right time. To think Leafs could still have a Bolland in their back pocket.

First Kopitar didn't miss an open net. He was robbed by Reimer who made a great save.
Riemer did make a great save with the right pad, but there was a rebound and Kopitar shot it high missing the wide open net, and puck the goes around the boards to JVR and off with Raymond on the 2 on 1 and he shots he scores!

Holy shit, can you believe it. Even today looking at the highlights, hard to believe.

At this point after beating 2 of the California big 3 and despite the myriad of flaws the team has (as many here have pointed out), I think it's safe to say we have a respectable, competitive team.

They've played a lot of stinkers but they can also beat the leagues best.

Once a team gets to the playoffs, strange things can happen.

Hey I can relax and watch Saturday night HNIC. Leafs get a rare Saturday off, but visit Washington Sunday afternoon.

The 'Buds can definitely punch their ticket - I wonder who we'll get in the first round ? Would love to beat the Senaturds again, but they suck this year and won't make it. Montreal maybe, and their poutine nation fans.

I got up early this morning so I could get my parlay in. Liverpool and Arsenal and the Leafs, the soccer ones came in but would someone please tell the Leafs they have a game today? Already 3-0 and being outshot 10-1.

Now 3-2 Leafs have narrowed the gap.

You can say that again. You believe Ottawa blew a 4-1 lead in the 3rd, only to lose in OT to Montreal last night? That game was painful to watch. I was hoping Ottawa could keep Montreal a little further back of Toronto but no such luck.
Refs were bad, Lehner was bad, Sens defense was bad and Montreal enjoyed something very rare. I'm mean really, scoring with 0:00:03 left? Ughhh.
I loved it :)
When the system fucks up against which ever team you root for your opinion may change.

Exchange Montreal for Toronto and I would be happy the Leafs won, got a break, but overall I would be disappointed with the NHL officiating.

Damn !
If only they woke up a little earlier in this game. They may have got at least a point.
Lupul has gone cold.
I do not blame Reimer for any of the goals.
PK ... even so, should not be that open in front of the Leaf net.

Someone else 'said' it first, Bolland may be done for season.

Ottawa's Karlson still does not look right.
He is not the player he was before the injury.

Actually I've seen every Sens game this year ( painful I know) and from what I see he really started to look like his old self right around Christmas.

He has the explosiveness back in his first few strides which he didn't have when he first came back.

The Sens on the other hand well they are just God awful in their own end. There will be no playoffs this year I'm afraid.

To me he just does not look 100% back. Maybe lacking a bit of the confidence he had, and/or the swagger.
As he is he is still a very good defenseman.
I cannot quite put my finger on it, he just looks a little off of what he was before.

Bernier injury update.
He is day to day with a low grade groin strain.

Ga-damn if you told me before this road trip that the Leafs would only win two of the five games I may have guessed one California win and Detroit, more likely they salvaged the last two games after going 0 for California.
Leafs have zero depression in them.

Kadri has finally put together a few good games, but Lupul is cold and Clarkson has yet to arrive from New Jersey.

On another note the PP, I would try Kessel, JVR, Clarkson, Bozak and Phaneuf(I would go with Rielly if I could run things for a few games). Bozak takes the faceoff then drops back to the blueline, Clarkson goes and stands in front of the net. Kessel and JVR do their thing. One of the three forwards should be open for a good quality scoring chance at some point over the two minutes.
