The positive for Leafs fans is that they might hear "1967' a little less next year. Of course it will be replaced by "2004", which is probably worse.

Somewhere in the bowels of old Maple Leaf Garden, the ghost of Harvey "Busher" Jackson will sleep well tonight:). The Leafs treated him horribly after he retired from active service. It is rumoured that he was seen outside Maple Leaf Garden on game nights begging for spare change.

How many times are you going to post the same message ?

Leafs had to win all remaining games beginning with tonight's game to even have a chance at the playoffs.
They ended the suspense before it even began.

This has to be one of the most frustrating seasons ever. We left for a 2 week vacation Feb 6, at that time Leafs looked like a lock to make the playoffs, we returned Feb.20 to find they were all but out of it. This group of players is a combination of under-achievers and choke artists. They have maybe half a dozen guys worth keeping and none them wear #3. Burke or whoever the GM is going to have problems unloading a lot of these turkeys as they are overpaid and finding takers for them without taking on another team's problems will be damn near impossible.

End of rant!

For god sake man, be reasonable!

I'm just messin' with ya, next year Toronto will be on the ice in Spring, not the golf course with Tiger. I shall believe that too until they either make it... or ehem.. are mathimatically eliminated.

You're no bandwagon rider are you Kat? Keep the faith baby! :)

Why not send Phil Kessel home ? zero shots zero hits one give away yesterday . He seems to have packed it in and why
risk him getting hurt .

How is Kessel going to get hurt? He isn't going to block a shot, he isn't going to get into a scrap, he isn't going to throw a ferocious body check, he isn't likely to chase a puck into a corner against a tough opponent, he isn't a lousy skater that might trip over the blue line. The guy is a finesse player that stays out of trouble.

Wasn't it around Feb 6 that the Leaf's PK significantly improved? The PK before Feb 6 was terrible.

Remier is out for rest of season it seems . So who do you put in the nets next game Ben Scrivens or Monster ? If Scrivens goes in the net then
throw up your hands and confess you don't know what the hell they are doing

Even Greg Millen was sounding despondent over the lack of effort put forth by the Leafs last night. When your own announcers are saying you stink, you know you really do stink.

This is a good time to see what he can do. It doesn't affect the team at all when they are out of the race.
